PS3: Gran Turismo 6
The latest update has fucked up the customized transmission. https://www.gtplanet.net/gt6-transmi...-fix-incoming/
Since I have at least 60 cars with the tuned tranny, I'm gonna wait until PD send us a fix. I do want to grab those free VGT cars asap, though.

Nissan Nismo GT-R LM is out for GT6. Too bad GT6 can't simulate car breakdowns.
This car is such a disaster. Also out is Peugeot's Vision GT car.
Anyone try the new cars yet? I need to wait until the weekend.
The GT-R LM also didn't have their hybrid system turned on during the race due to reliability problems, but even if it was turned on, it would still have been very slow compared to the other LMP cars.
I didn't try more than three times at the ring, went to the dealership and bought the car instead. I did win the other two cars though.
The hidden gem is the GTS-R, I detuned it to 750pp and it smoked all AI cars at Le Mans 24 mins, and it wasn't even close. The RH tires never wear out, the aero really work, shitload of grip even on wet surface, only have to refuel every 3 laps. Great great car for the S-class races.

But the only viable cars I have are the Mazda LM55 & Sauber Mercedes.
That's where I made up a lot of ground. Had to crank up the front downforce to tame the understeer & keep it from flying off the track on the hill after the first set of turns at the beginning of the lap.
They seem to have stepped up the difficulty on the seasonal events. The most recent expert level on the Eiffel (new?) track, I was struggling to even break into the top 10. High weather variability. May try it again with an AWD car instead of the detuned Nissan RC390 (or whatever it's called) that I was using.
So I downloaded this game after recapturing the GT bug after renting GT Sport on PS4 last weekend. I pretty much had avoided GT5 and 6 due to other games and life in general. I was disappointed with the GTS' lack of single player campaign and I don't want PS+ so why not for $15. Took a day and a half to download, install, download updates, install those, set up the game and drive the Renault to start it up. I must say this game seems to drive "easier" or I just dialed in the TCS better than in GTS but I have far better control. Plus seeing there are 1234123 cars and tracks available feels nice. Unfortunately the dated UI and the graphics on my plasma TV are no match for GTS' glorious home screen on my OLED connected to my sound bar and woofer. But I could always move the PS3 back to the big screen for those long race days. Anyways I've never had more respect than I did before for a Honda Fit. As yesterday was my first day, I faced my first real challenge in the final first set of missions with the GTR which was a pleasure to drive. I'm not the guy who gets golds on license tests and your times will be better than mine but if you want to add me so I can gawk at your times my PSN is Doom-878. Glad to be back on the track and drooling at these beasts.
I'll have to give this one a shot again. I'd abandoned it, as the last couple times I'd tried to load it up, some of the online challenges wouldn't load. Just sits on the loading screen with no activity.
I used cockpit view all the time in GT5, and then I started to play competitively in GT6 and found out I needed to see as much road as possible so I switched to bumper cam.

bumper cam > * IMO.
