I was reading somewhere that it's not that clearcut. Some EA rep was claiming that it's up to Porsche to license the cars however they want and they chose to give exclusive rights to EA, they're not hostage. I think they must have signed some long-term deal and hopefully it will expire in not too long. I think today car companies care a lot more about games as a marketing tool and they know EA isn't where the best games are.

Ah, there you go. I'm really glad I did it now. I didn't even go nuts stock-piling cars like you guys, I just bought all the cars that cost more than a few million plus the few I actually cared about, and I had 50,000,000 left over. I think it's plenty enough to enjoy the game.

I was glad to see them increase the payouts and bonuses, it shows they're listening to their fan base.

So I noticed that in the playstation store 7 million in game credits is 49.99


We each atleast got $500 in free content. Id like to know real totals because that's such a huge screw up on their part

I'll have to add up my garage value. I can already tell you that I have something like 68 Ford GT40's that each retail for 20 million. Doing the math, that's about $9700 worth of credits. Even at the 6 million credits that I'll end up getting for each one of them, that's still almost $3k. Of course, that's just my GT40 stockpile. I also bought every car in the game that costs more than 1m credits.

Here's my first attempt at using the panning function in photo mode. These will get better I'm sure. Also, I think the Alfa Romeo MiTo is the best looking hatchback in the automotive industry. Hopefully they bring it to the US eventually.

Fuck drifting. I got 100% gold in the entire first 3 tiers except that drifting challenge where I can only get silver. I've tried it 100 times and I still can't do it consistently.

Lol. I drift with the GT86/frs/ brz. Imo easiest car to drift.

Are you playing with a wheel or controller? I use a wheel for everything but drifting. A controller is soooooo much easier in the drifting events.

I'm playing with a G27. And you can't pick a different car for that event. No way I'm using a controller, it's just something I need to learn. Eventually.

I have no intention of even trying to learn to get better at drifting in GT6. That's why I use the controller so I can quickly get by those events and go on with racing.

G27, WheelStandPro and a gaming chair. It's all pretty comfy and gives me a good sitting position but doesn't create a permanent eye sore in the living room.

I also have a DFGT, but the G27 is a massive upgrade in terms of pedals. Going back to the DFGT makes it seem like the pedals aren't even there, they're so mushy.

Finally got gold in that god damn drifting challenge, I got 5400 points! Onto International B now.

The WheelStandPro is really great, I can vouch for it. I have both the original and the Deluxe V2.

Anybody here got a T500RS?

Can definitely vouch for the WheekStandPro too. It folds up easily and stores away when not in use.
