There's a new budget PlaySeat I was thinking of getting. This one actually folds into something small:

I want something that's not so GT style more Like F1

Plus that looks way too reclined to be comfortable.

Plus I'd like to use the chair for gaming as well...

Doubtful. I've had the WheelStandPro for like 3 years. It's pretty durable.

Yeah the wheel stand pro is built like a vault. The lawn chair playseat, not sure.

They sell an extra bar to mount the shifter.

Yeah the F1 seats cost like 7 times more. And you'll need to rearrange your whole room, the cheap one is a stow away solution. F1 cockpit is way out of my price range but if you buy it... send us some pics.

Well not exactly f1 style. But somethings thats not like sitting on a chair and desk. I just looked at some review pics of the playseat and that folding chair might work out ok. So long as I can use it not just for GT6/racing games.

I saw pics of the shifte, seems ok, but id prefer if I sat lower Down to my right side, much like in an actual car.

For racing it's nice to have it next to the wheel so you can quickly switch between the two.

For those of you that do not roam the GTPlanet forums, do not put custom wheels on staggered fitment cars, especially MR cars. There is a glitch that basically duplicates the front tire width to the rear. Doing this on something like a later model NSX for example, will basically put a 215mm tire on the rear of a mid-engine RWD sports car. Many users have found their times to drop 3 seconds per lap with aftermarket wheels on an MR car.

Dropped my time around the ring to a 6:45 in the HSV. There is still room for improvement.

Also got around the hooking up my Logitech surround sound and damn does it sound pretty awesome.

@ this comment on gran turismos FB page

It's hard to tell which is real and which is in the game. You should do a sound comparison between the cars and a vacuum cleaner.

The sound is just ok IMO,

Definitely could be better but IMO the tones between cars is distinguishable.

A lot of the cars sound decent when they're not at full throttle. I tend to listen to the engine at lower rpms when I'm just messing around on the track.

I'm at 30% or so. I'm in no rush since it's the only video game I play these days. Just been having fun modding cars and screwing around with photo mode. Spent a few days doing the 20m credit glitch too.
