well schweet, looks like mother nature has delayed the "release date delivery' for my copy of gt5. UPS reps are worthless. this is the first time i have typed this but FML. not really worth it to hit up amazon for a refund of my $0.99 shipping fee.

Picked up my copy this morning. Didn't do the preorder because I didn't think it would ever come out! Thankfully the girl at the counter at Gamestop hooked me up with a code. Only had time to run one race in arcade mode, buy my used Miata :ghey: and install it. The install took about 50 minutes, and took me right up to having to leave for work. I'll have to play for a bit tonight and see how it is!

I have too many hobbies. I want to fix up the Avant, Integra, haven't been able to spend as much time as I want doing photography, plus my LEGO and Robot collection hasn't been added to much in the last year and a half. I need a better paying job or win the lottery.
I'll try that argument on the wife and report back.
That is one of the why I haven't bought a blu-ray player because I knew at some point I would get a PS3.

I noticed now if you win a car and sell it you cant win it again like in GT4.. sucks started off with POS Civic.. won a concept toyota sold it for 90k bought a r33 loaded it up close to 650hp! now im out of cash

You must prove that you can use the brakes and steering wheel in the license test. They don't trust you not to ruin a imaginary ca.. God I'm pissy today.

If I remember correctly, B-Spec is only "watching" the race. This was introduced in GT3 because the creator wanted something that lets the player "enjoy" a race as if they were watching it on the sports channel. So basically, yea you coach the driver, telling the driver to push the race, take it easy, fill up, change tires, etc.

Don't buy non premium cars. They are ugly and you can't modify them. Heh, the photo mode won't even let you get close to them.

after playing my first race (Arcade mode at Trial Mt, Castrol Supra) - I will say I am VERY happy with it - it feels much more 'realistic' than past versions. Gonna keep playing. And it looks very nice too.

excellent controller customization options. down on the left stick is horn, that was dumb too. I set both stick press positions to N/A and set the horn to left on the D-pad and wipers to right on the D-pad (both of which were set to steering as a default). problem solved.
