Hit up xur to see what he had before work. I had coins to spend so I bought the new warlock chest. Start offrom with extra fusion. Wonder if that means I can stack 3 grenades now.

He had dragons breath as well for anyone that has yet to pick it up.
Solar flare perk is pretty trick. Leaves a giant sun behind like the warlocks solar grenade. It forces bosses to move and bosses that stay still completely will call it the Cheese Cannon in no time.

 

Finally finished VoG on hard. No Vex

Finished Crota. Got the Hammer. Yesssss.

 

The mythoclast is hard to get. It took me a while to get mine. It makes the "kill 2 enemies with fusion rifles 20 times" bounty super easy. Same with "killing 3 hive at once with a special weapon".

 

Waking the hive makes that easy on the moon

Now getting 500 points in crucible only using void damage. Sucks balls

 

The loot system is just so random. The Mytho is hard for some to get while others find two of them their first two hard raid runs.

I like both Waking missions on the Moon for most kill this many with that bounties.
Waking the Hive is great for mowing down groups for leveling Husk of the Pit.

I prefer The Wakening for Super, Special, and Heavy kills.
You get to a room maybe half way through where 3 shreakers appear. I run past the first shreaker, under the doorway and up the stairs on the right. The first shreaker cant see you but will spot cursed thrawl in groups of 6. The shreaker infront of you you will have to hide from but it is very easy with all the pillars.
The 6 grouping of CURSED thrawl make it so you kill one and they all die. You get ammo, special meter refill, and glimmer as if you killed all of them. Making heavy ammo a pretty frequent drop. Also special refills, for me, after killing 6 groups making the Kill 3 enemies with Super 20 times pretty easy. Heavy is easy as well if you use rockets. Special I don't know if killing one counts as the 3 you need. I have not tried yet.

 

If its Fallen to kill. i use this. then if somebody comes. ill just sit there until they leave so it doesn't spawn for them.

 

Cant see the video at work but based on your comment and knowing how destiny's previous loot caves have worked I get an idea. You're a monster. hahaha

Im sure you vets do this all the time but I was pretty proud that last night I was able to strong arm the Nightfall by myself.

As a Warlock I never activate my super via button press. I always run straight into the thick of things doing as much damage as possible while bringing the enemies in close. Once they see I am going to die they all jump on me. Once I die I go Phoenix Force and rain insane fusion grenades with the help of the Praise the Sun from Heart of Praxic Fire.

Because of this I have one death, but obviously I resurrected myself, used Radiance, and finished it out. It was used for one of the Generals right before the tank general.

Didn't do any of the raids last night though so hopefully tonight!

Reached level 3 rank with Eris. Upgraded Husk of the Pit to Ediolons Ally. Picked up the material for Murmur and a second upgrade material for my second Husk for when I get the other 300 hives kills. Maxed out the Ghorn, stacked another commendation, bought a second Harm's Way; this one with void instead of arc, and found the Up For Anything auto rifle.

Yesterday was very rewarding and with a fireteam of just one. haha

 

Nice man. I've done the Nightfall solo before also but it just takes a long time. I usually wait for friends just so we can bang it out. The only other weapon I need in this game is Icebreaker. Someone in my fireteam got it for beating Crota on two separate occasions, both on Tuesday. Hopefully Xur sells it this weekend.

 

I know a few people that could benefit my team by finding an ice breaker so I hope so too. If not you can have one of mine Loot system is so funny.

Bungie got me a new pulse rifle for xmas. Coiled Hiss 1919. Happy enough to hold onto it for a while.

Only part of the raid I completed was Crota final boss. Got 3 energy and a ship -_-

 

Why not do the entire raid? I usually don't keep weapons unless they do some type of elemental damage except for Badger CCL.

 

Just got my icebreaker from Nightfall last night. got really lucky for it. Now i need a Vision of Confluence or badger CC

 

We cheese so hard on Crota's end, it's ridiculous. Believe it or not, but my buddies and I completed Crota's End from start to end 3 times last Tuesday night.

3 times for all 3 of their characters. Then later in the week we would do Crota's End some more of the stragglers who didn't do it yet.

Jay, morno said he never done Crota's raid before until last night. We carried him only from Deathsinger though.

 

Because I didnt sign on until maybe 7 last night and a group of 5 were already at the final boss. I just jumped in while they cheesed Crota. I'll do the rest of the raid hopefully soon. I need that helmet!

 

I thought he did. I guess not. Probably only vault. Trying to get to 32 so I can hold the relic. Lol as soon as I get better. Been sick for the last couple of days. Makes me vomit when I look at a screen

According to the patch notes all of the glitches will be fixed on Tuesday. You'll also get a chance to get exotic weapons and armor for killing the Deathsinger.

i think the hardest part is the bridge.. rest of it is pretty easy

 

Someone on Reddit already had the idea to get a Sunsinger across the bridge first, then everyone on the other side wipe, Sunsinger then dies and self revive. In theory it could work since "all" team is on the other side. But of course it depends on how Bungie code it.

 

That actually is a good idea. Might try that. Crota is sort of a pain trying to get the timing down right. And twice yesterday after the sword bearer was killed the sword disappeared when I tried to pick it up.

 

Voh hard did meverything good. Didn't get the vex yet but I got something I am far more happy with. Par Timepiece. An arc primary. I've needed a good arc weapon for so long. Now I've got one of every elements for primary. Got two other raid weapons I don't care about as well.

Finished up the coat raid and got a a bunch of shards and energy. Ready for the reset now.

 

Timepiece is good for arc burn. Fatebringer is the other arc weapon in that raid which is awesome. I use that as my primary the most. Started a new character yesterday while I was watching the playoffs that should be ready for the raid again tonight. He's sitting at level 19 right now.

 

I have yet to find Fatebringer. But I have not enjoyed any hand cannons yet so not sure if I'd like it.

I am scared to try crota without cheese. Doesn't sound very appetizing. Hahaha

I was told rumor of a new monarchy shader if you level them up to 8 or 10... is this true? I looked it up and have found mention of it buy not sure how real it is... may just start working group on fwc or deadorbit for the lulz.

 

Fatebringer is awesome. Any kills with precision damage causes the target to explode. Its the only hand cannon I own. You only get it by beating the templar in VOG on hard mode.

Oracles= Foil
Templar= Fatebringer
Gatekeeper= Timepiece
Atheon= Mythoclast
All on Hard only.

So far I have Foil and Timepiece... as well as the Rockets and Sniper from the Normal VoG.

Id like the Mythoclast just to have, but I cant imagine it replacing my two main Exotics; Ice Breaker and Ghorn.

I really need to level up my second character. Still only a level 8.

 

Fatebringer is arguably the best primary for PvE. The firefly and explosive round perks are just wonderful to have in PvE.

The guys that 2 man VoG Hard used the Fatebringer.

 

Damn. Well I need that and the Mythoclast still.

 

so yeah. i uploaded one of my crucibles. and well might be funny to everybody. there was a couple of times where i rocket'd myself in the face.

 

I finally got Icebreaker. Xur is selling it this weekend. Missed out the first time he sold it.

I picked up the Obsidian Mind which I didn't care about but with it I have the gear to hit 32. Just need 42 more Radiant Shards. Woooo. Slow grind.

I feel like a weight was lifted. Hahaha

 

Why do you even have this kind of mentality? Remember that you didn't earn any of the weapons. It was randomly given to you.

 

Well I mean everything in the game is a random drop... aside from purchased items which anyone can obtain. Nothing is truly earned in that sense except your K/D stats.

I was making light of the situation. Ive got two upgraded IceBreakers, one Crucible drop the other from an Engram. I personally feel either of those drops is more "special" than a purchase from Xur.

Regardless, neither are earned nor am I saying I am better for how I got mine. Just laughing at the fact that the gun I had over my playing buddies is now purchasable by anyone and everyone.

I imagine JMax will be rubbing it in our faces tonight hahaha I was still lucky enough to land both Hammer and Hunger in the Crota raid.

Having a 2nd or even a 3rd character will speed this process up.
