Luis that's kind of contradicting because we cheese whenever we get the chance.

And taking Crota down with one sword isn't a cheese, it's actually a bit challenging because that means the whole team needs to be quick enough to take Crota down 3 times and the sword bearer needs to be swift enough to get in as many shots as possible. If it wasn't challenging then we'd be doing it already like how we always pushed off Atheon.

 

well for crota boss fight, i dont like to take him down that fast.. even in normal when we take him down in 2 swords.. its rather boring just sitting down there and just shoot rockets..

there is another way to down crota fast in normal.. just have 4 titans keep throwing up bubbles to spawn orbs where crota spawns.. then start the round that way swordbearer can consistently super crota.. should be faster than what was posted as you can R1 then SUPER right after to shave some seconds off.

 

Still laughable when a grown adult rage quites in a tantrum because someone said "no way dude I don't believe you."

Best I've seen was taking crota down half in one sword. Which means he dies before ogres even come. I thought that alone was insane so the thought of twice as fast was unbelievable.

 

Ok I'll add you. I'm up to 31 almost 32 thanks to the iron banner. Me and a couple other guys are still trying to get past vault of glass. Seems like you need 5 or 6 guys to get past the first part.

I hate this new matchmaking with the Heroic Weekly.
I'm not much of a tea bagger. But when stupid randoms run ahead without the team then die alone in a limited respawn zone. I can't help but just tea bag them and NEVER revive them.

Once already a buddy and I were trying to do both the Nexus strike to get some Vex major kills and complete a strike without dying. I can one man Nexus without dying so I knew we could do it.
We got more than half way through with the random guardian they matched with us doing nothing. I am pretty sure he stayed behind at the spawn point for half of it.

He rockets past us on his sparrow. Right after my buddy and I kill the two yellow bar minotars right before the cave we get pulled into orbit as if we all died.The random had gone ahead into a no respawn zone then died alone. The game seeing only one guardian was in the limited respawn thought we were all dead and ejected us into the score screen. Ultimately counting as a death and also resetting out 9000xp without dying. What a noob.

I messaged him saying, "You could have stayed behind with us and we would have all finished the strike without dying."
He responds, "Why you mad bro?"
I explained to him that since he ran ahead and died we all had to restart from the checkpoint which reset our 9000xp bounty and complete a strike without dying.
His response. "Dude it is just a game."

Why do people instantly respond with "you mad bro" when you tell them they suck in a nice way. If I was mad I would be cussing or maybe rage quite. Ugh. Scrubs.

Starting to really dislike the Crucible as I blame that for all the nurfs we see with the fun weapons. I wish they would nurf the guns for crucible only and leave the stats in PVE how they are. It's not the people in PVE that bitch and complain about guns being OP; it is the crucible players so please leave our weapons alone bungie.

The only nurf/buff I can think of that had PVE in mind was the recent shotgun buff which I truly love as now the shotguns do their job and maul in a close quarter fight.



We were about the star a VOG and one of the clan girls thought this was funny so she took a pic and sent it to everyone.

 

Yay for soloing Nightfalls and being rewarded the same exotic you were wearing. My third Praxic Fire now. There was a time when I thought those were rare. Now both my warlocks have it and I'm breaking down another.

Glad it is finally a fun nightfall that isnt impossible for me to solo... like Omnigul for me.
Arc burn too so finally getting some good use out of this Necrochasm. It lays waste with Arc burn. Fatebringer is fun too but Im enjoying finally using the Necrochasm since I see no use for it anywhere else.

My Arc LDR is doing great too. Way better than Ice Breaker in this Nightfall. Ice Breaker was going about 2900 critcal while LDR was doing over 8000 critical. Both on the Fallen Walker legs prior to exploding.

 

Just finally got the Crux of Crota last night. Didn't even really want it. I hear its a fantastic piece of junk.

 

I agreed with this statement up until this weeks Nightfall.
My only use of Necrochasm now is during Arc Burn Weeklies. It rained destruction on the captains with arc shield and igniting them like cursed thrawl would kill anything within 2 feet of him. Nearly all precision kills result in the explosion which does considerable area damage.

Aside from missions with arc burn however I wont touch it.

My buddy hasn't cared to do the Crota hard raid since we beat it with our normal group 1-2 week into it's release. Last night he got on and I so happened to be at the bridge on CE hard with the clan. He joins and ended up taking the Crux home. Everyone was supper jealous and his response was "What's the Crux do? I assume that's good?" hahahaha

He's now only the second one Ive seen win it aside from myself.

I've deleted my 32 warlock... I had two remember. So I did the nightfall/weekly then deleted him for a Titan so I can have all three characters.
Got him up to level 16 now. Trying to push to 20 since I have some good equipment for him then I should be able to use him for the weekly by the refresh or at least a few days in. Might not be able to do a nightfall run though... maybe one of the last days before the next reset if I can get enough marks and rep to buy a chest piece from the vanguard.

 

I'm thinking about making a Titan also. Right now I have two Warlocks and a Hunter. Plus the game is getting incredibly boring. We usually finish Crota on hard on all three characters Tuesday night or Wednesday. The only reason I still do the raids is just the enjoyment of playing and talking with my friends while we're doing it.

And I agree about the Crux. If it was a scout rifle or hand cannon that does more damage per shot and was easier to get head shots I'd be all over it. It'll sit in my fault until the next arc burn.

 

The only thing saving me from completely dropping this game is Crucible. I'm having a ton of fun in Inferno right now because it's so challenging. The need to tactically use the environment and flanking finally has its place. Doing missions/raids just feel like a chore now. Aside from the Gjallarhorn, there's no motivation for me to play for loot.

 

I definitely agree Crota can feel like a chore with all the sword disappearing that goes on.

We do VoG Hard still 2-3 times a week. Sometimes more if friends miss out and want to get something still.

I have a feeling I will be plugging away for a while still as I want the same weapon load out for every character without having to transfer with the vault. Specific weapons I can throw back and forth, like Visions of Confluence during VoG, or Ghorn for Crota.
But Id really like Fatebringer, Found Verdict, and Hunger for every character. I need one more of each.


I really wish Inferno added no supers into the rules. Then I may be willing to play it more as it would feel like Halo from back in the day. I don't care much for crucible though so eh.

As well, we only have a couple months to wait for the new DLC. And Xbox users like myself still haven't seen the two exclusive PS4 strikes so we have even more to look forward to.

 

A lot of stuff has been said that Sony bought exclusive content for 1 year. Not sure if that means 1 year from launch but either way, it might be awhile for you to get the Playstation exclusive content (weapons/missions/crucible maps).

 

I started a new character, my first Titan so now the game is interesting again. The only enjoyment I get out of doing the raid is just from playing and talking with friends.

 

It looks like come fall we may get some or all of the exclusive content finally.


I actually enjoyed playing as the Titan far more than the hunter. Which I find funny as I usually hate the soldier class.
I enjoy that bubble. You can really get up close to enemies and still use some great cover with the bubble.
My tip is to not use the bubble from inside but from behind it and shoot from the side. I found that to be a great help.
I'll be getting the Titan to level 31 today with some plasteel plate grinding in the strike playlist. I need 23 more plasteel and glimmer.

My hunter has the gear to hit 32 today if I grind him for more sapphire wire and glimmer.

Finally picked up the last word from a crota hard run. I just need to run these two lame exotic bounties and I'll have about every xbox exotic available.

And my 2nd buddy just won the crux last night. He doesn't even have a husk of the pit to upgrade. Hahaha now he's grinding blades just for the husk.

Destiny Item Manager

It lets you see all your items across all three characters plus vault. You can click an item and choose any character to transfer it to as an equipped item or stored item.

You can also make easy to use load-outs that let you change your entire weapon/armor set up with one click. Even if the shotgun you want is equipped by another player while the rocket launcher is burried in the vault or maybe one of the other characters. Just click the load out you want and it automatically unequips items from other characters, replacing it with the next available on that guardian.



On the right drop down menu you can see the load-outs I made.
Each Stand-Alone for each character consists on the weapons each has equipped.
Crota Hard is set for Fang of Ir Yut, LDR, and GHorn.
Atheon Hard is set for Vision of Confluence and Song of Ir Yut. I normally match those with the Ice Breaker I already have on all three characters.

 

When is the House of Wolves coming out? I'm seriously getting bored with this game.

Last night's normal crota finally got me the crota chest for my Titan and the swordbreaker shotgun.
I now have every crota raid item available minus the Titan boots.

I can use the mk44 stand asides though to hit 32 with the Titan then I'll be 32 in all three classes.

Still have 3 exotic bounties to do then I'll have every xbox exotic weapon.
I need bad juju Thorn and super good. I'll do super good but screw Thorn and bad juju. I just don't want to do the crucible portion of their challenge is all.

Gta and their newly released Heists are keeping half my attention off destiny right now though.

 

I first said that about thorn, but once I got a system down and some void weapons it was much easier

 

I just NEVER play crucible. Ever. Example... since the games conception I have entered 92 crucible matches. In comparison to mdkxtreme who has entered over 10x as many crucible matches as I have. I use this game for the PVE experience. I dont touch PVP with a ten foot poll. I will be very content saying I have every exotic minus two exotic bounties as everyone knows those aren't that hard to obtain, you just have to follow a written set of instructions.


Ive been reading into the lore of Destiny. Some really cool shit. Wish they had a book or maybe on-line comic.

Got my last non level 32 so close. Raid helmet chest and arms completely leveled. Just need 100 more damn plasteel plating before I can upgrade these MK44 Stand Asides.

I am going to save up my plasteel plating and now upgrade these MK44's until I have the full 100. That way if I win some boots before that I can just upgrade the boots instead. They only need half the amount of material and I could use the plasteel plating for my Skullfort and Saint14.

 

I'm on XBOX One. Gamertag: Las Vegas SWAT. I hate crucible also but with a full team its not that bad. The ONLY time I play crucible is when I have an exotic weapon bounty to complete.

 

Sweeet. Got my 3rd fatebringer finally.

All three characters are rocking the handcannon/shotty/rocket set up.
One is using Word of Crota (Void)/ Found Verdict (Arc)/ and Hunger of Crota (Solar)
the other uses Fatebringer (Arc)/ Judgement (Void)/ and Hunger of Crota (Solar)
and the last guardian is using Fatebringer (Arc)/ Swordbreaker (Void)/ and Hunger of Crota (Solar).

They each also have their own IceBreaker and Abyss Defiant as well other weapons I dont have duplicates of.


Now that I have all the crota gear/vog gear I want the entertainment value of this game is really dying. I still need to hit 32 with one more character before HoW is released. I need the Crota boots +10 platings OR I can use my MK44s but they need another 60 platings to upgrade.

My plans are to save 50 platings then put those in the vault then start upgrading the MK44s with new plating I find after that point. This way if I win Crota boots before I have the MK44s upgraded I'll just fully upgrade those. But if I get MK44s half way upgraded before finding crota boots Ill just use the 50 platings in the vault to finish the MK44s.
