FedEx emailed the tire was delivered, I went to Firestone to drop the rim. I had already dropped the spare from its mount and put it with the empty rim in back.
I went & said you just had a tire delivered for me & said I wanted to drop the rim & old spare that are in the back of my truck, I handed him my Simple Tire receipt. He looked confused, said what tire, asked the other guy if he knew about a tire also confused. Guy2 went through the door between the service area & the lobby & said I guess this one, I said Cooper AT3?. Crickets. I repeated the location of the rim & old spare in the back of the Sequoia
Guy 2 then asks if they need to remove the rim from the truck, having said that 3x now I said They are in back, I am just trying to drop them off, I have said that 3x now. I had pointed to my visible through the window truck 4x, & guy 1 asked where the truck was!
We walk out, I get the tires out & we walk to the new tire & he asks again what I want.
Firestone mounted the new tire, with weights that did not stick. I literally drove home (a mile at most) and had numerous hanging down. I removed the ones that were unattached & made an appointment for Yesterday (Sunday 7/30) at 8am when they opened. I drove less than 10 miles and when I got to Firestone they were all gone.
Guy said the alignment tech did not arrive until 9am but they wore rebalance the tire prior and the truck would be ready at 9:30. As I know they never meet the stated time I returned at 10. It was neither ready nor on the alignment rack.
Why? Stuff happens, the tech did not see my ticket. FUCK YOU!
I took my truck & got the fuck out of there.

I shoehorned this in the spare location, this was attempt 12, it's better than 1-11 but not by enough I'm afraid.
It is shoved into the subframe & then the hitch crossmember, chain is cranked as far as it would go.
Is it too close the the exhaust?
Short 2 mile trip, Current ambient is 99. Numbers are as follows. Resonator is 250, spare closest to the resonator is 125, tires I was driving on are 123-130. thinking I'm ok.
I doubt it'll be an issue. The exhaust should get hot enough that far back to do damage to a tire, especially with an air gap. You could always get some header wrap for that section of pipe if it bothers you.
I asked in the Tundras Az group, that was the general consensus, I posted this.

From an RC-F & adapter, 22% bigger, people see up to 2lbs boost increases!
LKQ does not make it easy. Called Oregon, verified they have it, then had to call Phoenix to order. I have to go pick it up when it comes as they do their own deliveries & do not do residential.
I took the truck to Firestone for an alignment, when I picked it up, they said my 23 month old X2 AGM was dying & showed me the report showing it had 329CCA of the rated 930. I took it to Batteries+ & they replaced it. I have until 9/26 on the free replacement warranty although he said it was a max of 2 free replacements so hopefully I don't find out what that means.
Not shockingly, the throttle body was not available yet when I called to see if I could go get it, they said late in the day delivery, available for pickup tomorrow.
Neighbor replaced his backyard including a new pool (replaced old one) so we had jackhammers & concrete demo recently. The deck people damaged the pool pebblecoating & they are doing it again. My entire house is shaking.
Ouch. I imagine the stock MPG on the tree-truck isn't too far off the Denali.
When we took it to Pensacola, best I managed was 18.8 almost all highway.
The MiniBus [Expedition] got a best of nearly 24 on the round trip to Denver last Dec.
Big improvement over the 5.4V8 IMO.
We've had 2 at work, an older 5.4 EL & currently a EcoBoost V6 SWB. I'll take the V6 every day on the Exped.
Now, had they offered the 5.0 Coyote, who knows.
