BMW did say they have no plan to put that nose in other models......

But that means little since they could always make a new plan

Think it will fail like most current social experiments. The only good thing about the pig snout is it put me in a Z4. Would not have made it if they had done a decent snout. Was able to leverage the ugly thing with the wife to get her to go Z4. They say in Carolina happy wife happy life.

Dealer was also a co-conspirator letting me take the Z4 home over night so I could take her on a moonlight, moonshine road run on a warm summer night with the summertime oldies station on. God I love good marketing !!

This month is the 1-year anniversary of the M5. This month is the 2-year anniversary of opening my own firm. This month is the light at the end of a very long and dark 12 months for me personally. To celebrate I placed an order with IND, this evening. Just some cosmetics, but it makes me happy.

Sooooo, last night I got a speeding ticket in my driveway. This kind of thing could only happen to me...I'm convinced of that.

It must be from the BMW effect.

You sure it was your driveway and not what you took for the entire roadway as your driveway, right (because BMW owner)...?

Slapstick aside, did you come back from somewhere and the cop just followed you home and issued you the ticket when you went inside?

Very weird.

Officer clocked me doing 59 in a 45 on a road right outside my neighborhood and lit me up as I pulled onto my street. I pulled into my driveway and proceeded to receive a citation. He even called in backup. At least he turned off his strobes...that just would have been insult on top of injury. It 100% didn't help that some stupid escaped from my mouth when I abruptly pointed out that I had just passed a major vehicle accident where no officers had arrived and yet I had two officers in my front yard because I was driving too fast on a road where no one else was around. Sometimes, I just need to STFU.

Glad you're on the road to recovery from the physical ailments.
Sorry to hear about the ticket in the driveway, though.

Hope you have smooth sailing henceforth!

Happy Father's Day, Tim.
He's lucky you had slowed down to 59 for him to catch up.
Why couldn't he just give you a damn warning. Probably jealous.

Looks like fun, sir. Sadly, I don't have too much of that locally and need to drive to the Rockies in order to get anything close to that for me. Hoping to do that this year maybe if COVID restrictions are lifted and we feel safe enough to venture that way.

No speeding tickets hopefully!

The occasional speeding ticket = the cost of driving with enthusiasm and a smile on one's face.

I think because he got the M5, you forgot that his 335 was slow... even slower than IS350...

Got all the guys in the family lined up for a Top Gun II night out. Gotta love not using GCI & just real flying. Must have been an eye opener of the actors in the back seats of the F18's. Its said they pulled as much as 6/7G's. Personally never did more than 3G.

Doing a very slow imitation of the famous F15C vertical climb publicity shot. We just ran out of airspeed & slid back tail first right after this picture. Plane is all done a bit over 200 in level flight. Classic look use as Japanese Zero fighters & Kate torpedo bombers in the movies with cockpit glazing modifications.
