Also, Sorry to see the mishap. Is it possible to source out a headlight from Ebay to cut the costs down? Thankfully it didn't take out the camera on the bumper, as those aren't cheap either.
Adaptive LED is OEM only in my book. No way I'd risk an aftermarket part.

So in the future, whatever you do or whatever you hit... dont hit your headlights on your X3...

I dont think there is anything more expensive on the outside now...

I agree but I was more or less saying finding an OEM unit in good condition. I just don't know if it will need programming.. With these BMW's everything you touch needs to be programmed.

Oh I already know.. Common issue with my headlight on the M40i is condensation. They replaced the passenger side headlight under warranty and the SA told me the headlight is over 2K. I was like

Not surprised..

Are you running a reflash tune? Chances are it will be wiped. It's happened to me on both of my BMW's once something gets reprogrammed.

No. I've had a few things unlocked via programming, but no tune. In speaking with the shop, they indicated the programming consisted of syncing the headlights primarily.

That's excellent news!

Unfortunately when I took my 2018 base X3 in for them warranty the battery for the SOS system, they reprogrammed the car and I lost my tune. I recently went back to the performance shop and when they pulled the DME file, they said BMW put the newest update which locked my DME from being tuned. They assured me at some point, someone will release a tune which will override the DME files. That's my biggest issue with BMW..

My insurance company is subrogating against her insurance company. They should be getting me my deductible back.

Did this incident go on the CARFAX report since it was filed through insurance? Might get a diminsihed value claim since it's a speciality vehicle.

Added something else that is fast to my life....

This is Pepper, my new rescue greyhound. She's almost 4 and was recently rescued from a racing track in Tijuana, Mex. Based on her ear tattoos, she raced 97 times, 37 of those times she finished first or second. She's learning how to be a pet for the first time in her life and she is an absolute sweetheart. Second fastest land mammal in the world (after the Cheetah); top speed ~45mph.

Next up a tattoo of Calvin pissing on cheetahs!
Congrats on her, she's gorgeous and showing her love is fantastic.
I'm surprised she survived losing any races being from TJ.
Also a little surprised you didn't adopt a donkey since it was from TJ also.
