Yeah, I already painted the bumper mesh black from their factory silver. The only appropriate paint I could find (for plastic) was in a satin.

Hey ttribe, ever thought about these?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/3D-LOGO-4-Pi...ae0e9d&vxp=mtr

I know they aren't authentic, but it's a nice look. Didn't someone here get some of these?

I just can't do a cover. I'll do some minor painting to cover up the ugly, but unless I was doing a BBK I don't want to draw any more attention to the brake calipers.

Great job regrouping on that lip...looks great! I wouldnt worry abt the gap bc sometimes oem doesnt fit 100% perfect either..u still saved money over oem and thats all that matters

I ripped off the front lip on my m6 and decided just to order a aftermarket rep in case I rip it again $1000 vs. $400

Whats next on ur mod list? My m6 is in the shop getting some visual updates as well

That's a good question. What ever I want to do next will likely be a bit pricey and I need to see how the money situation is going to shape up as we get closer to the end of the year. Maybe wheels and tires, maybe a tune, maybe suspension. I don't know.

DOOO EEETT!!!!

after doing a little reading.. sounds like JB guys are running no problem even on aggressive tunes. Of course you're going to at minimum run 5050 meth.. snow makes a great kit especially for the $$. You could be walking your old M5 for less than $2k.

+ no notchiness to the transmission.. Majofo might be trading in as well.

Why direct over piggy? Doesn't the juicebox have more maps, including bypass to stock if need be?

Primarily because of how it interacts with the ECU. As I understand it, JB is basically fooling the ECU into believing that the pressures and temps are still stock. As a result, its much less drive-able on a daily basis (in terms of general smoothness, etc., the torque curve is more lumpy). Also, with ESS I'll have a tune that is customized to my car's existing software and how it interacts with my specific hardware. There are always minute variations, and this will better account for those. I'll still be able to swap the tunes with about a 20 minute turnaround just using my laptop and a cable.

I'm anticipating ~360HP and 400tq. I'll be doing pre-and post-dynos as well.
