Have you considered the Alufelgen-SF71's? Or the Type 359 replicas, same wheel essentially, the SF's stand out a little more IMO. A lot more affordable too and look almost aftermarket. Cousin of mine has them for his E90, looks reallyy really good.

I have considered them a bit...if I get more serious about wheels, I'll probably consider them more seriously as I do like them...and I really like them even more after that picture you posted.

Which ones? The BMW Performance wheels, or the Alufelgens?

After looking around earlier, apparently the Avant Garde M359's have the most concave mesh design. If you run a staggered setup (19x10 rear, 19x9/.5 front) these definitely would look the best. A subtle difference but I mean look at it Anyways, hope you get some inspiration and moving closer to the serious consideration phase. For being $1000 less its tough to beat.

The Alufelgens and Avant Gardes remind me of this (and that's a VERY good thing):

those rims do scream BMW, but maybe thats because every other BMW has those wheels

When it comes to rims its a deep personal preference, but at the same time it has to match the cars personality.

How do you feel about it ttribe? You love the way those rims look on a BMW, or do you want to change the game?

Dunno. I have plenty of time to think about it since I don't have any cash set aside for wheels yet. I'm open to suggestions. I won't be spending ADV.1 type money on wheels, though.

As dreem1er said though it's all personal preference, i'm sure if you go the M6 route you'll do it right.

Cant find the name but I've seen maybe 2-3 BMWs down here with these, except they had them with a silver face, black on the inside, and black on the sides of the spokes.

I personally would put these, more open design looks a little bigger

I hate to quote the picture but these are BBS FI. You're looking at around $2k per wheel.

Any reviews on the quality/strength of the replica wheels?

I need to get a set of winter wheels and tires. I've been leaning towards a black matte set. The only question is do I stay at 19 or drop to 18. I am thinking 18 to be better suited for potholes and have a narrower tire.

There's almost always going to be a quality drop off using reps. That being said, if you don't live somewhere with completely crap roads (huge potholes, etc.), you can probably get away with them just fine.

For a winter set I would just recommend these. Quality is similar to a forged wheel, they give the load ratings in the link.

All these BMW's make me want to purchase something Bavarian very soon. Who wants to meet me in Munich to do a factory tour?

The Audi is a actually a TT-S, but it's been modded the point where it will smoke an RS. Pretty impressive little car. Also, further up in the line (hard to see) is an Orange 1M. Definitely cool.

Thanks for the thoughts. Since I have no immediate plans to do wheels, I can kind of consider all manner of options. Thought I'd get some feedback.
