Those 510s look sexy indeed. I fear they'd require you to go lower if you get them though.

I was thinking the exact same thing. When I look at those wheels, I really like them, but think (for some reason) I'd need to lower the car. I'm not sure I want to lower this car, though.

You had springs on the M5 right? Dew it again.

I did, but that car sat up quite a bit higher; especially in the front. It needed springs bad. This one sits much lower and is, believe it or not, a much stiffer ride in general (although the M5's ride was pretty harsh with the electronic dampers adjusted all the way). However, part of the harshness on the 335 may be the stupid run flat tires. I hate those things.

And it's not even totally slammed! Dew it Tim.
Springs now, tires in a few months, and then wheels a few months after that. Not like you have to worry about winter in AZ or anything

Your car looks great as is. Whenever you decide to pull the trigger on wheels and such, it'll look even better!
Until you do so though, we need some videos showing off what that tune did

A few shots from the 3/2 BMWCCA - Roadrunner Chapter BMW show held at GoodSpeed Performance in Scottsdale:
BMW North Scottsdale brought a couple of their kitted-up 3-Series to show off some of the accessories one can buy from BMW. Needless to say, I'm not a fan of the stripes:
Limerock Edition M3 (owned by Roman from ESS):
An excellent E39 M5 Touring:
A beautiful classic 6:
A new F10 M5 with various goodies, including RPI exhaust:
A pair of E60 M5s (sigh):
An 8:
A modded-out M Roadster, complete with ESS supercharger:
Misc. shots:
And the recipient of the 2nd place trophy in the 3-series class (don't ask me how...I'm still not quite sure):

In terms of updates, I had to buy a new set of tires. One of my rear run flats went, and I was going to need to buy two (since they were both near the end of their lives). The cost of buying a new set of Bridgestone RE760 UHP tires (NON-RUN FLAT) exceeded the cost of buying two replacement run flats by only $100, so that's what I did.
That being said, there will be no updates for a while I fear. I'm currently living through a personal nightmare as, a few weeks ago, my business partner (completely out of the blue) decided he didn't want to retire on the timetable he's been talking about for the last five years and also decided he didn't want to share the firm with me anymore, so he showed me the door. Right now, I'm considering a variety of opportunities but, at least in the interim, have created my own company so I can serve the clients that came with me when this split (rather suddenly) occurred. Things are tight, to say the least.

The fact is there are very few people in town who have both the experience and the testimony background I have at this point in my career. 11 engagements went with me out the door and I've got about $10k in unbilled time I need to send out invoices for next week. Once that money starts coming in I'll have some additional capital to spend time doing some networking and marketing. Plus, I've had 4 or 5 firms express serious interest in having me come on board to start/run their forensic accounting practice.
In the long run, I'll be better off. He was greedy, selfish, unpredictable, ego-maniacal, passive aggressive, and rather bi-polar in how he handled his people. On the flip-side, he knew his business, took great care of his clients and had built a good practice worth me trying to buy at the time. Since that's not going to happen, I'm better off without his craziness.

Weekend before last was the BMWCCA Roadrunner Chapter's annual "Devil's Highway Run" in Northern AZ. Just a few pics below.
The route itself runs from Alpine, AZ into New Mexico and then South, followed by a Western turn back into Arizona. The drive then proceeds through the mining towns of Clifton and Morenci before a twisty climb back into the mountains ending back where it all began in Alpine. The total loop is about 210 miles. The ~100 miles from Morenci to Alpine includes more than 500 turns on narrow two-lane roads in very mountainous terrain. A whole lot of fun, but a little harrowing when you come around a corner and find 6 roaming cows on the side of the road (as I did at one point).
Prior to the actual run, we took a "leisurely" 20-mile drive to have breakfast at Hannagan Meadow Lodge -
The view across from the lodge...yep, that's actually a picture of pine forest in Arizona:
The lineup of participants (including an interloper from Stuttgart):
This E90 M3 had the full set of Dinan performance modifications, including the stroker motor! Very fast!
The Cayman S. Word has it, in the right hands, it ran away from all the BMWs in the twisties...pretty impressive car:
Turns out we didn't pay much attention to signs like the one to the right:
Just before we started our ascent through the mountains (where my hands could NOT leave the wheel to take any pictures) we stopped to take in the sight of the world's largest open-pit copper mine in Morenci:
Summary - lots of fun. Lots of twists and turns. Lots of ignoring posted speed limits. A little rain in the mountains, just to make things even more interesting (as if a sheer rock face on one side, and sheer drop on the other didn't make things interesting enough). Oh, and can't forget the cows....

As an aside, I did this same run two years ago in the M5 and, I must admit, it was much more fun in the 335. The tight turns and narrow roads were just much more manageable in a smaller car and the (enhanced) torque from the turbo chargers made blasting out of the turns just that much more enjoyable.
