no, just going through my insurance to save a headache. yes, the bitch should pay, but if i lawyer up, work stops on my car. i dont need that.

but they owner of the shop says he will more than likely waive the deductable for me

update:

just got back from the shop. all parts are in, but he is waiting for the claims adjuster to come back out to authorize repair/replacement of: the left front strut, other splash guards/plastic pieces, and the apron ( the area behind the fender. has to be cut off and new piece welded in)

the chances of me getting it back this week are looking slim

but he is repainting the entire left side tomorrow minus the door and fender, as they need to be lined up and he doesn't want to scratch them.

Seriously. Unless it's a panel, any kind of welding done to my car would make me unhappy to keep that car.

OP, I had one and loved it so you got a good car. But with this repair you're probably going to want to drive it until it's not worth a pot to piss in. Especially with new welding being done.

I bought it for 15k and the ass hat still has not delivered it to me..

He will end up keeping it he has a wedding to pay for now.

unless

he sells it and uses the money for the wedding.
