I'm sure mine does too BUT having a white car has its advantages
My sister's brother had a 05 Jetta 2.5 5-speed. That car was a lot of fun. I just don't like the black stripe on the Cup Edition
What's the estimated MPG for that thing? My girlfriend's '12 Elantra got 42 mpg on the way home from SC today. And that's with her crazy ass behind the wheel

mixed driving yields about 35mpgs.
highway has seen close to 50mpgs.
id jump on a TDI, but i dont need to blow 23k on a car right now.
and yea, i dont like the stripe either
I would, but since the accident, all i would probably be able to get is what i owe
before the accident, i was looking to pocket about 5k if i got rid of it. that's how good of a deal i got on it.
im closing in on 60k. with the accident, i wont get squat for it.

That's how I feel about the TL. Both the front and rear bumpers have been replaced along with the dashboard. I have the itch to get something new but I would get raped on the price. I'm just going to keep it and get my money's worth.
i would like to get into a G37S sedan, but thats more than id like to spend right now
but...my horroscope said a new source of income will come out of the blue

i like the newer ones, not the first gen. I really wanted a first gen coupe when i was wanting to get rid of my TL, but the interior was a deal breaker for me.
I really like the newer ones though. Id get the newer one if i could, 3.7/7AT

The car was perfect in towards the end of August after the accident. The whole front end from the fenders forward and entire left side were repainted. The dent in my driver door is the only dent in my car. The front end looks like its been sandblasted already.
I know its from my weekend trips, but this much damage in about 10k is crazy.
I shouldnt bitch too much, the car has been reliable, something that my TL never was. im just a perfectionist when it comes to upkeep i guess.

Black's definitely the worst color for showing rock chips and dents. Red's not too much better either, believe me. I suspect you'll have a new car before the end of next month. Just call it a hunch.

i got rid of my TL the week before the tags were due, and the day before the car payment was due

meh
the car has been reliable, but its just the little stuff that gets to me. its been more reliable than my 2G TL-S could dream of.
first the CEL after a month of owning the car, then the accident two months after owning the car, hitting a cat at 60mph right after getting my car fixed, blown speaker, thin, chipping paint.
dont get me wrong, its a fun car and my fiancee loves it, something i couldnt say about the TL, but for once, i would like a car where nothing happens to it.
My TL was a nightmare as far as ownership costs, and the Mazda seems to have bad luck with minor stuff that i cant help.
and i know ive noted this a few pages back, but i dunno how much more shifting my back can take. I kinda strained my back injury last week, so my 2.5 hour drive to the coast was hell

Yeah you can't really say those issues, besides the CEL, are due to the car itself. You've just had a string of bad luck with it, nothing Mazda could have done differently. With the issues now with your back it's as good a time as ever to go car shopping. You should at least go look at a car you'd rather have at a dealership and see how much they'll offer you on a trade in. You never know, they have their way of working with numbers so it might be more than you could get with a private sale, especially with an accident it the car's past.
I just think its a shame that i cant drive a car with a proper gearbox when my back injury does act up. It sucks, im too young for this shit
I did almost need surgery on it, they said it really wouldnt do anything.
