I'm not sure, man...I don't even know how it's supposed to be repaired. My buddy said most places won't touch a wheel that's already been repaired like that.
Since the 19" DW are on the way already...I'm considering pushing up my search for some 19" aftermarkets...have to be a spoke design, obviously...
there are a set of Forgestar CF5V that are ready to go right now...but almost $1800 with shipping. I do like the finish though, super nice...and probably pretty light...

Trust me, I'm basically headed down that path...found ONE on ebay for $250...but I feel that's a lot for ANOTHER curbed oem wheel that I have to wait to be shipped to me.

Honestly I think this is a perfect time to just get new wheels all-around. I mean it's for you and your family's safety, so the wife would have to be on-board...

I am surprised no one will fix it. How big is the crack? I have seen wheels repaired from cracks and when they are done correctly they are just as strong as they were originally. They need to cut, grind, or drill that old weld out first though obviously.

That is a pretty big crack in a 9in wheel. I think think if you find the right place though they could fix it.

that would be awesome because I'd jump on that one wheel and then get the others refinished for $350.
Not sure if you tried this or not, check it out, it may help.

Go to car-part.com, I populated the fields with the following criteria:

2013>CadillacCTS>Wheel (display w image)>All areas/Select an Area>Sort by part Grade/Select Sort>33328.

Pick the wheel/Size on the next image screen, maybe you will get lucky and find something.

Awesome, man...
thank you. Just did, I found a few, but all of them want $350+
I need to pull my wheel and really look and see if maybe it's not just a nail.

Yeah, They pretty much have them priced full retail. I don't know how these places roll when it comes to selling a full set or just one wheel. If you have some free time one day, compile a phone list of what interests you and start haggling, hehe. Might just find someone who will oblige your need for just one.

Good Luck!

The OEM wheels fit the car so well. Going aftermarket is always hit or miss. On a car like yours, you don't want to cheap out on wheels if you want them to look good on the car. Paying $250-$350 for OEM may seem like a lot, but it's a lot less than spending $1500+ on an aftermarket set that doesn't look good once mounted. Remember... you now have to pay that 'V' tax. It comes with the territory when you own a car like this.

This is for a new wheel. If my research is correct, the gm part # for the front wheel is 19300997; however, there are also four others listed; 19259630; 19259631; 22767439; 22820066. www.gmpartsxperts.com has them listed for $260.00 each, with $19 shipping to FL. That is the lowest I could find them marked as the following; 19", code:PJ2, RT9; Wagon.

Maybe it's just me, but $350-ish for a forged 19"?

Sounds pretty damned attractive to me!

The easiest way to figure it out would be if you had the 'window sticker' from the previous owner. That would list the wheels/codes etc.. Otherwise, a quick call to Cadillac in the morning would glean the best result. :twocents:

Cadillac CTS (2010-2014). #19300997: Wheel.

This site has the different part numbers as different wheels altogether! Check out which one is yours!

That's what I did, Johnny...
but when I cross reference google images on teh polished finished based on those PN nothing definitive comes up.
I guess I should just go order those donks after all.

Almost like the target market of that particular automotive manufacturer isn't expected to do anything themselves, rather they just rely on the dealership to take care of everything for them...

yeah sub $300 for a forged oem wheel is not bad at all and a much better idea if you still don't know what you want aftermarket wise.

I think that's probably the takeaway here...
I don't wanna go rush and slap some donks on the car just to call it a day and then regret getting rid of the OEM set.
