rockstar143's 2013 CTS-V SUV Wagon Thread - GM Owner & Cut Springs

I considered that, Majofo...
and thanks, man. I'll post some high res I snagged this morning...lighting was sweet.
Plastidip does a very similar gunmetal...I may go that route on all the major chrome trim...I like that idea cause removable, obviously.
Also, check this out...I settled on these...decided against getting the ones with red because I don't want to lock myself into a color scheme and if I do, it won't be red.
Simple and classy...almost oem looking.
Front/Rear and All 3 V's (might put back one back on)...and he's making me custom "V" with the same flag on it for my weathertech inserts (so I can finally remove the "weathertech" raised badges) from the 2 front mats and rear trunk tray.
These are the ones I settled on:
Last night I realized it's perfect...black car, silver calipers, and darker wheels match all the badge emblems

Do those stick on the original badge or remove and replace? They look thin, which is why I ask.

Inserts, substiantially cheaper...use a razor and pry out and stick these in.
I pestered Ruskyiab (aka CaddyLac on the FB page) about the ability to swap the internal badging...
eventually he gave up Nate aka rebadgedesign there's a thread on him on vowners.
Nate can make you whatever you want, Maj...a friggin Hawaiian flag...a rising son...anything.
I just didn't want to overthink or get TOO creative...I a Swiss flag in the inserts would have been cool...this seems more classy.

Outside only, he quoted me $95 shipped for the 4...2 V and front and rear...another $20 for all 3 V's (wasn't sure since I debadged, but decided to get it now in one batch in case I decide to put the rear V back on.
OEM replacement V are $75 a piece...so if your flag is fading like mine...this is a very cool alternative and way to subtly customize your ride.

I have been stalking your Flickr account so I could get a sneak peak before you posted pics and you end up using Photobucket!
The color looks great in the garage! I'm anxious to see how they look in the sun. I can already tell this was a better choice than going with aftermarket wheels.

Well seeing as it's his butthole, pretty much anything that can fit. And even some items that can't/shouldn't fit.

He was awesome...ended up throwing him the extra $50 that he should have charged me for 19's as a tip...
overall, $500 and my wheels are perfect.
I might have to get them re-balanced...not a shock that over 85 mph is a little shaky, I know better than to trust anyone else to balance.

I should have left well enough alone and not gone and looked at that powder coat supply site.
I didn't realize there were so many color options...
I don't see how you could have made a decision; it's so overwhelming!
