Should black out the window trim though. The car just looks so much better without it. The tops rails matching would be really nice.

Does the new color have more of a satin or matte finish? Looks that way in the picture.

I'm not going to say no to blacking out, but for the time being, I am not looking to lose all the cool contrast on the car, so if I did anything, first approach would probably be wrapping/painting to match.
Should be a glossy finish, for sure.

Well, confirmed with my bredren powder guy that he placed order for the Burton Silver...

Nothing V related to report but B's headlights which I retrofitted with HID's a few years ago (and double as DRL with anti flicker caps) went out...well, one did.
Read up on it, and was able to access both from the engine bay without dropping trou, aka bumper. Swapped bulbs, fired right up...got it all buttoned back up, went for a drive...
the cheap $5 bulbs were prior than her aging ones.

Go to take a pic after it's all buttoned up...passenger won't light up.
Lucky I ALSO had a spare working ballast. I am such a whoreder.

Lucky lucky SOB sometimes...I already called Prismatic to be sure they have it in stock.

J.
Called BURTON SILVER
Doesn't it seems like this is the way things always play out.... However, in this case I think that you're going to be happier with the Burton Silver based on what you have been saying all along. Can't wait to see the pics of them installed....

In the meantime while she's on jackstands clean the wheel wells, and clean and then wax / seal the calipers.....

Thanks JT and Andrew...
I originally thought I'd have recolored the calipers immediately!
but the silver still looks so classy and is in such great shape, I'm not hard pressed.
Either way, I've perfected the art of painting calipers...so when the time comes, I'll go that route.
Already have the decals in my cart along with the 6mm 1/4" slap on spacers in my cart with Tyler Mont- waiting to hear back if there's a coupon code via pm.

I've honestly never had that problem...and then I can change the color at will with some patience and 2 hours of my time.

You guys will think I'm nuts, but the one color I always wanted to do and never did was a very vibrant and dark bright pink.
Maybe during save the tatas month?

Since my screen name is JT I'm assuming this "Justin Timberlake" comment was directed towards me wise guy...LOL.. Note the pic that KaMLuNg posted isn't of my wheels. Those look to be the OEM Satin Graphite wheels..

Here are mine, note the wheel lock.

That is no bueno for the HID ballasts. They like 12V power

Not even, IIRC, they send pulses to dim the oem halogen...
so I needed to add the capacitor to hold charge and provide the constant signal/voltage.
Dumb!

I wish I had his money!!!!

Yeah, my color is very difficult to tell in pics. In my small avatar pic they look black, they're not. In the sun (in person) they're slightly lighter than in the pic I posted and the metallic really pops, but you just can't see it in pics.

Johnny, no...
it's just oem wiring to capacitors to igniter to ballast to bulb...
all jammed INTO the headlight assembly because it's a contained unit.

yeah, problem is there's no way to disable it.
so she literally would have to remember to get in car and turn off low beams every time (which are the DRL)...
which she never does...
which sucks.

MOPARs are the same way. That's why I was having so many problems with my low budget HID kit. I ended up going with capacitors and anti-flickers and straight to 12v connections to get it all to play nicely.
