those are a similar color to the graphite i sprayed my MR2 wheels... except mine aren't dip... i was leaning towards that color for when i do the OEM wheels on the Vagon... it's subtle and hides the brake dust well...

was there a picture of the crack posted? depending on how bad it is, you could always have a good wheel shop fix it... it's a gamble but i would probably try that first... if the weld holds then just PC the whole set... OEM wheels are damn good for what comes from the factory... i'd be reluctant to go aftermarket...

that copper metallizer over the polished wheels would look dope AF!
I might actually try that one day.

Jason, I only have one to REPAIR, but really 3 of them kinda need baby repair.
That's why i'm tempted by an entire other set.

I've given up on trying to hide dust...I wear it like a badge of braking honor now!

Joe...you know CaddyLac on the v forum? The vendor dude...he said that's exactly what he wants to do...get some rears widened to run a serious rear tire.

I've heard of CaddyLac, but not too familiar with him..

I think a Copper or even Bronze if the right shade (some copper's are too orange IMO) would look good. I actually saw a finish close to the last pic below at my powder coater on a black G35 and they looked great..

Didn't want to quote all the pics but if I had a black Vagon the darker bronze is the way I would go for sure. Looks so sweet. Kind of elegant yet sporty at the same time.

I like the Titanium as well, but would still likely go bronze...

Yup exactly how I feel, and in person on a black car, especially in direct sun it looks amazing...

Not knowing what type OEM wheels you currently have, I took a stab at 18x8-1/2 (alloy), SW, 14 spoke, painted (opt RT5) wheels, from the selection criteria, on car-parts.com and AD Used Auto & Truck Parts 9630 South River Drive D Medley, FL 33166 had four for $150 ea.

NIce!
and close...
thanks man...
it's the
19x9 +51
19.9.5 +56 staggered OEM set...

that would be awesome because I'd jump on that one wheel and then get the others refinished for $350.

I got 18x10 to fit the TL with 275s on all 4 corners. Not bad for a car that came stock with 16" 205s

Bronze or matte black is what I am going to do. Bronze does look really good on the black wagon.

No joy on finding the 19's on car-parts.com.

I did find a shit load of 'compact spare' 135-70-18's, though. If my research is correct, GM #19179359 Spare wheel kit from the dealer fits the 2013 CTS-V wagon. It comes with an 18x4-5 spoke wheel and will fit in the space provided in your wagon. So, if you get a hair and want to truck down to Medley, west of 826 which is a little better neighborhood to pay a visit, one of those 18x8-1/2's could potentially be used as a full spare, although the spoke pattern will be different.

No there will be accents here and there. I have never done a blacked out car though so it is tempting with something like the V. If I do black wheels though the lips won't be black.

but don't worry you wagon guys. The right answer is this...EVERYTHING must come out to access the upper bolts for magneride.
Remove the bottom, the sides and the upper. Then you can do it. How anyone did this in an hour properly is beyond me. This is easily a 2 hour job...
one hour to remove trim and replace it, and one hour to swap the shocks and take your time and make camber adjustments.

Just me...

started from the top now we heah...
then started from the sides and the whole crew fuckin heat...
then realized the bottom gotta go to get at the MR.

So yeah, we out now and I can swap the actual suspension tomorrow now.
remove the knob for the rear privacy thingy

pull hard the rear leather seat side
Name: 20161027_181407_zps595xhs4k.jpg
Views: 86
Size: 86.1 KB
then remove the 2 7MM bolts under the hidden panel clip thingys
Name: 20161027_182637_zps5stkcgkt.jpg
Views: 67
Size: 129.4 KB

then start removing the bottom shit, including tray and the rear facing 10MM bolts (4).
Name: 20161027_183353_zpsp2xcdqbg.jpg
Views: 61

then everything comes out
Name: 20161027_184123_zpskprrxupy.jpg
Views: 78
Size: 125.1 KB

then you can really access the MR top bolts and connector
Name: 20161027_184127_zpsr4ntzc70.jpg

and we're stopping for the night so tomorrow I can start fresh.

Kam, so did I, man...
I thought when I read the coupe/sedan one that it would be all laugh at you fuck you so easy wagon.
So I asked very hard for DIY and what do I need to remove and got no response and decided I needed to be batman
and BAM...
at least you know what to expect...
it's easy to get it all out, but it's easier to KNOW you neeed to get it all out.

That's it...

TOMORROW...
swapping shocks, cutting rear bump stops, rotating tires, adjusting PSI in all tires, and bringing rear camber in before an alignment next week.
