I'm not going to lie.. those dropped FX's minus the extreme camber, look awesome. If I had one, I'd bag it.

Ok, bagged and dished look great especially the blue one. The work he has done on that car is incredible and such a nice, helpful dude (on forums at least).

OK so just a cell pic for now. If it's nice tomorrow I might get the Nikon out. If not some daytime pics. Also was told one of the wheel studs on the passenger rear wheel is bad, I think maybe the threading is messed up. I also ordered some Rays locking lugs in black, should be in next week.

I don't see a picture in your last post. I stalked you on Flickr and found this one; is this it?

Yep 20x9. They do look small don't they? The tire is pretty meaty on there being a 265/50. OEM wheels were 18s though.

Yeah, the tires are pretty meaty but the wheels match well. My big concern with aftermarket on SUV's is they can look very donkish, very quickly and those look great. The FX has huge wheel wells so there needs to be some tire in there or possibly a drop...

Enjoy her

Thank you sir. Yeah I was really worried about it looking bad. That's why I didn't want lipped wheels, I feel that makes it look very stupid unless I were to go crazy with it. Everyone keeps saying lower it, even the tech at discount tire asked me if I was going to. I probably will, eventually, but for now, no. If I do anything else major it'll be exhaust for sure.

Wheels turned out great.

Although now I notice that chrome strip down by the side skirts.

I like the wheels but they still look small on this car. Maybe if the car was lowered. I still think 22s look best on this, those wheel wells are HUGE so they need bigger wheels in there

I'll get there but I'm really busy for the next month as I'm working everyday. I might try and do it on a weekend but I'm not sure yet.

Thanks! I'm not a big fan of chrome stuff but I don't mind them because I'm not big on how they look blacked out.

Thanks! I thought about 22s but being the car I drive every day I didn't want to have to worry about bending wheels or damaging them in any way. And simply put, I don't want huge gaudy wheels on my car, it's not my style.

you're right, going into 22s, it's hard finding good looking wheels.

I don't know if you're planning on lowering the FX but I think you should

I think H&R would be the way to go, but the intrax would likely LOOK best.

I don't think there is any of those intrax ones in production anymore. Or maybe they never were in production. I didn't see any for sale. H&R or coilovers are only available. I think I might be going with H&R on my FX and 25mm spacers all around

From the pictures i've seen, it gives it that tough looking stance at least...you'll obviously still have some gap, but everyone needs a little gap once in a while...amirite?

I am not lowering it for quite some time. Next purchase for it will probably be exhaust. Aaaaand the HKS Legamax is what I've been eyeing.

don't act like we're telling you anything you don't already know...
aftermarket wheels = mandatory lowering...this ain't your first rodeo.

and my personal vote, although I will love you either way, is to enjoy that factory infiniti exhaust as it was intended indefinitely and JUST focus on getting that stance and making those wheels look like 20's in that wheel well.

if you don't like what i just said, feel free to text me a picture of your unshaven taint.

I know I know lower it and all. I will, just not yet. Main focus this year is to get my CL into much better shape. Keep an eye on that thread for updates (occasionally, no promises). There's a link to it in the first post.

I believe the Brown Man had asked for an exhaust clip? Don't mind my work phone going off at the end lol.

It seems on my end that it's posting the video twice. No idea why.
