Progress of the daily - Bagged MB C350
I got the same car, except opposite, white on wheat. If you go with lipped wheels, go 22s, if full face, 20s. There are some coilover options for this vehicle, but honestly, I don't like the slammed look on these, or any SUVs really. I would only do springs, H&R 1.3" lower.

there are some forums, but they aren't that good. infinitiscene is the best but I can't register on there for some reason. It won't let me, but I lurk
If you go with full face wheels, 20s looks really good I think. They do come stock with 20s if you have sport package, then lowering it 1.3" with H&R would get rid of the wheel gap.

Meant to post this a few weeks ago, forgot to. Whoops.
Well back during Thanksgiving, I was perusing Facebook when I noticed Rotiform wheels had posted an image stating they were having a Black Friday sale, and had $500 off select cast wheels, the SNA being one of them. I contacted them, making sure they could redrill the wheels to my bolt pattern, as they only had 5x112 in stock. It would cost me $100, which was $100 cheaper than usual (normally $50/wheel). So I quickly jumped all over it. Took them about a month to get them to me, due to a high volume of orders, but I got them just before Christmas. They are the SNA model, and are 20x9 +35.
Should be getting tires soon, thinking of 265/50/R20, which is actually the OEM recommended size for the OEM 20s. The only thing I am running into is brand. Looking for something with good tread life and not too noisy. Good amounts of grip would be nice, but I don't need anything crazy sticky. Any suggestions?

those are really nice wheels man, they are gonna look great on the FX.
it is kind of stupid that Rotiform doesn't offer 5x114.3 as a standard size on most wheels, but you have to pay extra for that.

Nice wheels! Can't wait to see them mounted.
I'll second Rockstars suggestion for Kuhmo's. I replaced my Continental DWSs with them on my Mazdaspeed6 and they were far superior in grip and road noise, and less expensive.

So I had been looking around at tires and finally decided on Nitto NT 420S. More of a summer tire but since the winter here in TN is really just cold and that's it I'm not really worried about it. Pretty good tread life rating as well as performance and wear. Some people in reviews complained of road noise but to be honest, I've never had issues with tons of road noise. If they do get loud then it just means I need more music. Won't be off work until Saturday afternoon so if they have the tires by then that's when I'll be doing it.
I know! I hope the tires get in by Saturday otherwise I'll have to wait until the next Saturday to do it.
I'm trying not to go crazy with it, and I can't imagine many more major mods in the near future. I might do exhaust but that's a long shot, as it runs around $1,000 for a good system.

What blows me away with having gotten a 2nd car is how FOS I am. Oh, I'm not doing ANYTHING to this car. Just enjoy it stock...within 2 months I'm getting ideas and looking at pictures and spending more fkn money. G'dammit...
We, as enthusiasts, will modify anything we get our hands on. I've learned to embrace it, instead of my wallet
You will love the Nittos, I have gone through a few sets of them on my FX and they have been great. Good grip, pretty quiet (until they start to wear) and I got incredible mileage out of them.
I can't wait to see the rims mounted, they look great. For some reason, to me, the FX looks terrible with 22" dished rims and while my stock 20s look pretty perfect, I think an aftermarket like above may need a 21" but can't wait to see them so get on it!

Hey Tyler, are you on stock suspension? I was wondering if your car would look like this once they're mounted on the car? I hope so. I think these look nice. Probably on some springs or something...
