Progress of the daily - Bagged MB C350
I mean it's a car, they're going to require maintenance at some point, you can't avoid that. Everyone always says "Oh it's German and it's going to cost an arm and a leg to fix" Yes. It will. However, if you don't run the car into the ground and keep it well maintained (which assuming you would because, well, you're probably a car guy being on a forum such as this one), the car will perform day in and day out. I thoroughly enjoy the car, much more than I did with the FX even after the mods. I really plan on keeping it for as long as I can.

Well, that's the thing, even with routine maintenance, as a rule...German cars will be harder to work on, and will require a much more expensive part (when compared with an american/jap one).
That's what's kept me away...I would love one, one day...but I've been warned by my very handy self working on german engineering high school friend...to be prepared. He's the same guy that steered me from buying his E46 M3 from him.
That said, don't get defensive about it...people say it because it's true, that doesn't mean that your car sucks. Quite the opposite...I wish you many years of maintenance free enjoyment!

Unfortunately for Tyler (and pretty shocking since he's 7 feet tall)...that WAS the whole shaft! Must've dug the ruler in when he read us his measurement.
Not even close, Jeromey.
Give it to me.
Please don't use yolo in reference to me. But thanks for the kind words J.

I didn't even get the reference...
was thinking...
FX, CL, now this...Jet Ski, pretty sick set of Oakleys...yeah, you're pretty Yolo!
haha...
If I was ballin like that, I'd be glad to buy you a sack suspension for your car.
It's more of a "saving my money for things I want" than "yolo."
