Something tells me 2/3 of the crowd is getting one joke and only Tyler is getting the real joke.

Well, keep us posted on your suspension woes on both fronts, yes?

I've been on the fence for a few months now. I've loved the FX's for years. They are damn cool looking and sound incredible. The roads in Los Angeles suck. It's a major PIA to drive to and from work. I guess I could raise my ride up a bit, but I'd rather not. I'm constantly looking at the FX but the back seat leg room and trunk space scares me. As I have twins and I need trunk space for a double stroller and such. I'm going to keep an eye on your thread as it just may help me make the move to another car. Who knows.
Yours is looking great so far. Can't wait to see it w/a little drop to it. As the gap needs a little filling but not too much. Enjoy it Tyler!

^ my 07 FX fits 4 adults comfortably in the car. Plenty of leg room. Had a 10 hour round trip a month ago and everyone was comfortable. And all our stuff fit in the back. I don't know how big these strollers are but 4 suitcases, 24 case of beer, and 1.75L bottle of vodka fit in the back no problem

I can't recommend it enough. I love it. It rides great, drives great, and has tons of room. I work for Budget Truck Rental and I regularly have to take furniture pads, hand trucks, boxes, etc etc to other stores, and I never have an issue. I've had 100+ large blankets folded, 5 full size hand trucks (rear seats folded down), and I often have 4 people in the car, plus me. I'm 6'6 and my roommate is 6'4 and people have 0 issues sitting in the back with us up front. Also, being in LA the RWD model is definitely your ideal choice. I can get 450ish just highway or 375ish straight city.

Thanks for the complement! I love the car, not as much as my CL, but still love it. I hope next year to start poking around at air ride.

Dude, get the FX. I had an 05 TL and the FX, FX was mine and the girl's choice. Backseat is fine but the rear is hardly huge. The floor space is great but that back window really cuts into useable space. My mom had an RX 350 and it held a heck of a lot more and much better interior finish but I would never trade her. My fx with the sport package has a nice stiff ride and always gets compliments. The exhaust sounds fantastic and I love the brick interior plus all the tech like laser cruise, keyless start, etc.

Thanks for all the info Tyler. I much appreciate it. I'll definitely chew on this a bit more. As right now I only get 12 MPG City in the TL. Granted I pretty much drive around 8 miles round trip to work. It sucks either way. As I doubt the FX will be much better. I don't know how anyone gets such great gas mileage in a TL driving the city. As for the leg room, I like that you are tall and you've had people behind you. This really helps me visualize the kids in their car seats back there…and also my friends back there when the car seats are out. I guess I'll start searching soon.

The FX looks great! But the photos under the blooming tree are making me have a virtual allergy attack. We have the same trees blooming across the street. I'm a runny-nose mess today.

Yeah I always had a soft spot for them, which is why I wanted one so bad! It really was, had almost all of the service done at a dealer, and I am doing nothing but the best for it. Run it on premium gas and full synthetic Mobil 1 oil and filter.
