Yeah the 3M double sided tape. Two strips of the 1in wide and one of the .5 in wide and a LOT of mounted surface area.

The CL for awhile. Been driving her every day now and I forgot how much I love it. Not sure yet, definitely want to get something fun/manual/4cyl/good on gas later (tough combo I know). I have a few ideas but it just depends on the market/my income at that time. As of right now my ideas are:

Used:
RSX-S
Another CL-S but a 6spd
Older Audi A3 2.0T (huge maybe but I really dig those cars)

Really open to suggestions on these too.

New/lease:
Mini Countryman S - lease (I'm 6'6 for those who don't know so the big Mini is a must) I actually went and drove one of these and really enjoyed it. Always been a huge fan of Mini's

VW GTi - lease
HUGE maybe as I'm not really a fan of the looks but I hear they drive great.

It's tough to think of anything else that's a manual these days

Yeah I know, I really love the car though. It's not like the FX where I only liked the powertrain and everything else was just blah to me. I enjoy driving it a lot. If it was a manual (damn you fat lazy Americans) it'd be a different story but I think part of my issue with it and it's MPGs is the 7 speed auto constantly trying to figure out what gear it should be in. It has a 17ish gallon tank and it's getting roughly 275-300 miles a tank, with about 45ish miles of highway driving M-F and it was averaging 21mpgs a tank. Currently for this work week the CL has a 1/4 tank left and it's at 268.5 miles on that tank already. I've noticed I'd be lucky to get 300 out of the Merc, and if I do it was damn near empty. Driving habits are almost the same in both cars, just more swerving in the CL and OH F*CK POTHOLE.

You're pretty limited with wanting a manual and being able to fit in it. I feel your pain dude.

I've thought about it. I've heard they are iffy on mileage though.

Honestly I can fit in pretty much anything it's just the matter of being comfortable.

No fkng way you would pick a civic si over an rsx...sorry.

Yeah, I'm the one that told you that...but if you have a heavy foot, no car is gonna get you good mileage.

Haha I was hoping you'd pick up on that J. I really don't drive fast at all. What kind of mileage are you getting in the S? I'd love to get one but they are still higher than what I want to spend on a daily.

18-20 depending on how often I yo, Vee Tek.

Tyler, since you know I love giving my opinion...why not just daily the CL. If I didn't have the S2000...the TL was great for daily duties. Why not just get the CL going and put ALL your focus and money on that!??! In a way, I kinda feel like I have so much to look after when I have two cars. Same feeling I had last time...although it doesn't outweigh how much I missed the car last time.

I want something that I'm not freaking out in on every little bump and imperfection in the road. Something I can drive on a long trip and not smash the underside into the road 3 states away from my home. I LOVE driving the CL every day, but I do want something to be used as a commuter.

Man I never realized how great the AZ community is until I was on other forums. Jesus the MB forums are nothing but punks who think they are cool cause they have a C class. Wake up, you drive the Civic of MB. I get nothing but flamed and hated upon over there. I've had questions about the car go unanswered multiple times, tons of insults about me and both cars, and just all around rudeness. Thank you AZ for not sucking total ass

For example, when answering questions after already posting the answers, and being asked to sell things that aren't listed for sale. I told him he could buy the car if he wanted it (apparently he can't take a joke) and could have the lower grille mesh (not listed for sale). I also then asked to please not ask for parts that aren't listed as for sale. I got all this cause of that:

I'm apparently not allowed to lose my job and take a huge pay cut, then realize I can't afford the car anymore.

It's amazing how I'm such a fool for realizing I can't afford something I could when I made more money. Weird concept isn't it? You make less money so you can't afford expensive things.

Do it. Even though dude has been ridiculed by other members, he continues to berate me, even after I've made him look like a ginormous douche. MBworld also has 0 moderators, as this isn't my first time being attacked by idiots and nothing is done, even after reporting posts.

I should post the responses I got from the Mazdaspeed forum when I traded the MS6 in for the Charger. It was nothing short of barbaric. There's a reason we all stay on AZine even after moving on from an Acura.

Do they threaten your family and personal well bring? The Mazdaspeed forum pulls all the punches. Can't imagine it being worse.

So my general plan as far as vehicles goes is to sell Merc (duh) get that all squared away then hopefully buy something cheap late this year/early next and go from there. Right now I have a CL-S6 or an RSX-S on my mind.

Hello everyone

Guess what?

I didn't sell it.

Basically after parting out, I discovered the wheels I had were causing my serious decrease in MPGs. I noticed a large increase immediately after putting the OEM wheels back on. I started getting 75-100 MORE miles per tank than I was before. This makes me happy, since I really didn't want to sell it in the first place.

You had 20s right?

Try a nice LIGHT WEIGHT 19, you will get the look without sacrificing your MPG.

I had 19s actually. I had 20s on the Infiniti. Whenever I get new wheels they will probably be 18s this time around. 19s were too big for me. Fun fact these were actually heavier than my Rotiform SNAs, which were 20x9 and these were 19x8.5/9.5, being about 42/44lbs F/R and the Rotiforms were all about 37lbs.

So I guess a plan is in order again.

Wheels, moar low, loud noises. IDK I'll figure it out eventually. Currently playing the "I need a job" game cause I'm getting laid off due to budget cuts at the end of September.

I think my next set will be a high quality set for sure. Problem is I really don't know what wheels I'd want
