Honda made these for a few years, called a Shuttle. Think of a Honda Fit, but a touch longer. Not a horrible idea.

Back in the 00s and early 10s the Honda Odyssey in the China-market was also more of a wagon than a mini-van.

Looks like a baby Odyssey. Not bad, but hard to really tell size.
Like a 1g Ody, before the sliding doors.

Euhhh, I like wagons and vans, not a huge fan of the cross-breeding.
I am obligated to point out that G-AMG in the shot with the blue Honda.

Kind of want...but not at $95k plus options. Guessing these won't hold value anywhere close to a E63 model (provided the new one isn't a hybrid 4cyl lol) so getting one used in 3-4 years is probably the play.

would you prefer it without the “all terrain” cladding? I’m not a fan of that, I on the taycan, and back in the days I preferred the suby legacy without the Outback belly line.

I don't think the AMGs get the all terrain treatment.

Right, the AMG doesn’t have the plastic exterior treatment, but I meant with out all the AMG power and firmer ride and snarl from the v8, if it was just a 350 (quick side note, I just saw the E350 now is an I-4 engine )
so let’s go for 450 engine which is a v6… I prefer the regular version not the all-terrain one.

@ttribe
But it's a manual, so maybe a bit more reliable than the DSG?

I'd absolutely prefer it without the all terrain bits. Looks like a Subaru the way it is. The AMG version doesn't have those items though.

The new E53 wagon isn't the "all out" version. There is very likely a E63 version coming as well, especially given the success of the RS6 and M5 wagons. My guess is that they had an E63 version that was like a 4cyl hybrid with a million HP but yanked it back after the shit show that was the C63 launch.

The E53 is an inline 6 turbo hybrid.

I kept meaning to take a pic and post this. It’s close to where my parents live… he seems to have a car type he likes.

How about a Civic Type-R wagon (rendered). I kind of like it.

CTR works better as a wagon than that Accord. Both aren't bad.

The Accord is a rendering as well (pretty good one at that). I saw there was a video or two, but it's utter BS. Just a bunch of CGI intermixed with the Accord sedan advertisements. I had my hopes up for just a moment.

Two interesting VWs on C+B

An air-cooled flat-4 making a whopping 53 hp!

Both interesting.
The Type 3 just looks neat
Passat W8 No idea if they're a massive box to own, but impressive either way.

They are. Friend of mine had one, it was broken all the time. Also parts were hard to find, expensive, unique and anything beyond an oil change required you to remove the engine.
