True, but winning the lottery means I can have plenty of cars. The first one on the list is this:
when I see things like that, after someone poured so much effort into it and is now selling it. I just assume something is terribly wrong with it. Or maybe it’s just the way I am with not wanting to part ways with things, so it’s an incorrect assumption, maybe he’s just bored with it…

The description says it is registered to the seller's Montana LLC in Montana, maybe he just likes to build cool things, enjoy them for a while & then sell.
There is a guy on Tundras, put 70+k (plus the 60k the truck cost) into a turbo Tundra & sold it for 70k. Makes no sense to me but who knows.

This.
As cool as that car is, I don't want to take on someone else's project. With the amount of time, effort, money, blood, sweat, and tears that would go into doing a proper M3 swap into a wagon body, it would be a keep it forever type of car.
Very cool, but I would have done a 5cyl t5 / 850R motor. Granted that was more of a FF setup, so going to RWD would be more of a pain…
My parents had a T5 when I was in highschool and I thought that thing was amazing, so I have a bit of a soft spot for that engine.

With the 240 as an older body, the T5R engine would still be a whole engine harness change out, I would think. Now, find a pedestrian V70 and throw in the V70R motor....

yeah, I assume the work would be significant with either engine transplants, but at least it’s all in the family (engine and body)
