The Ford Flex of the 90s. My mother-in-law has that package on her Flex with the weird view windows in the back seat.
oh right, in 2010 I think the flex we drove also had 4 little roofs. I didn’t remember it having much of a greenhouse / open feel inside though. I think the rood lining was really thick…
For all the gearheads, this is by far the dumbest/best project I’ve ever embarked on. As y’all know, the Zephyr was on the fox body platform. So I thought, as a collector of wagons, would everything from a Mustang just bolt on to the Z Wagon? And it did (for the most part)! Has a coyote motor with a 6 speed manual. Huge Wilwoods, adjustable coil-overs, independent rear suspension, and massive rubber. Look for upcoming stunt videos.
I saw a first Gen outback the other day with the big foglamps. I was too slow with the camera, but I like those a lot.
i must like big foglamps because my favorite Lancer is the EVO V.
OK, a little change of pace. This one might be captioned "an exemplar of Postwar Prosperity." I mean, seriously ... this thing looks like it came off the line of a re-converted wartime tank factory!
Given my circumstances (townhouse), I'd still prefer a used example (pre-2021) of the conventional ICE V60 to the T8 Polestar, which is electrified (PHEV). But in terms of sheer styling, this is hard to beat, IMO.
But not so thrilled that the marque is Chinese-owned (Geely).

I love my Outback but lately I've been watching a bunch of YouTube videos on this... It truly IS an eye candy.
Have long been a fan of the V50, even the older gens.
Oh yeah. I really liked the lines and the size of the V50s, too. There used to be a family with one in my neighborhood, and I would always stop to look at it when out for a walk. Was even tempted to ask if they'd sell it and for how much, but never got up the gumption to do it. IIRC, it was naturally-aspirated.
Sadly, haven't seen it or any other examples on the road as of late. The interior wasn't much to write home about, but I'd definitely consider picking up a low-mileage AWD T5, esp. since its production run only overlapped for 2 years overlap with Geely's ownership (c. 2010). Plus, that was before cars served as big data collection devices ....
