Gotcha...
Same with my interior lights, ended up being corrosion crud on the contacts for the switch. Easy enough, guess it's just more exposed since it's a convertible.

1) No XXR
2) rear bumper tab trim is easy if you wanted to...
3) I'd be more worried about the fronts...
I actually decided to skip out on installing my rear balljoint camber kit. I will be losing shipping to return it, so I'd sell them to you at a discount if you're interested.

17x9 with 45-55mm offset depends on how much work you want to put into your fender.
245 or 255 depends on if you are using 215F or 225F.
17x8.75 +35 is about 6mm difference from 17x9 +35, and so that is equivalent to a 17x9 with 41 offset.
If 17x9 with 41 offset looks like that, then you should have an idea what kind of offset you wanna run on a 17x9 based on the picture. (50+)

yes, and when you talk about a 9" rear with a 50+ offset.....
you're talking about less wheel options then you can count on one hand.
or two piece wheels...
guess I wont be running 9's anytime in the near future

Well, you could, but I already got ripped for the extreme stretch of my 215 on a 9" up front. I won't live with any more fender carnage, trust me. I know the limits now and plan to stay well within them.
Well depends on how much you wanna spend.
yea... I love big name Japanese wheels... but I simply do not have the means or excuse to spend 2-4 thousand on wheels. I wish I could.

I personally won't ever go bigger than 17" on this car...I'm not willing to run a 35 series tire to also be as low as I like to be and not eat up the fender.
What are you lowered on?
I'm not about that low life... I want aesthetics but to also be fast on a road course as well. I've learned over the years that a stiffer spring rate will allow moar low, but to have a comfortable ride on the street you are going to spend $$$ for quality dampers too.
I still remember my buddy with an MR2 Turbo... he had a great alignment setup, and godlike Zeal coilovers. They were like $4-5k for the set. But you could barely get two fingers in between the tire and fender. It NEVER rubbed. And riding in it... it was like a waterbed, but more solid. I would describe it as anything but jarring or harsh. It handled beautifully as well. I think the springrates were 9k front/10k rear or something crazy like that.

If you have cash in hand and sit around on it you can find great deals. Even better than the price for Weds mentioned... though Weds are great wheels and $1500 would be a great price for 18x9.5
I would love to upgrade to the ap2 tails and headlights.. but that's an expensive bottle of youth cream...
i'll consider it after I've owned the car for a year or so.
the tails done bother me as much as the front bumper.

Agreed - the car is leased so I was planning to keep it stock for now and then if I decide to buy it out of the lease I would mod it. I do think the wheel gap is awful though - Lexus decided to give the AWD model more ground clearance - I guess they thought it was better for winter weather, but it looks horrible.
They are always parting out cars there.

Lower it will give you more room at the roof area from the ramp above.
The lift I bought was made by Quality Lifts (Q4P09 is the model I got), they are owned by Challenger Lifts who are pretty well known for their Commercial lifts and Quality is their residential line, the lift is ALI/ETL certified which should mean it is built to meet safety standards.
unless you have Earthquakes too in VA, otherwise i do not see any real concern.
But i just don't feel comfortable when it is that close.
Normally the cars i see parked under lift have about 1 or 2 feet above it.
also i think after a while you will become lazy from moving the GS out, lower the lift, drive the s2000 out and drive the GS in.
when you come back, you will have to drive the GS out, park the S2000, lift it and park the GS.
Eventually you will be driving GS only.

If that were the case, then why not just sell the S2000 altogether? I know I have a more powerful and comfortable sedan that I currently drive 20% of the time. Let's face it, it's 9 months in and the honeymoon seems to still be going really strong for me.
Anyway, new steel "mu" knock offs arrived. I love the new look.

Maybe he is more hardcore, but I know i will get too lazy/annoyed after a while.

I'm guilty of that too.
But you do have to take into account that not everyone goes through the same things and makes the same decisions.
I agree, but how hard would it be to put the GS on the lift for a few days at a time and just take the S instead? I can tell you I have to swap my house keys, gym clothes, make sure I have gas and radar detector every time I change cars...so I do know the extra work to swap, just not as much of a mission as a lift, I guess.
