Honestly, having Mexican AND Swiss Heritage, I have many family members that don't speak English well and I actually got the impression that it likely wasn't his first language...
I was trying to be helpful in my translation because I felt like I could tell what he was saying...I added the joke at the end because that's just my style.
I never ridicule someone that can't help their shortcoming. That's a fact.

just realized rockstar21 and rockstar143 are two different people
also my car is almost back to stock now save for the suspension. driving a quiet s2000 around town is sooooo nice after two years of having loud exhaust hahaha

I've been dailying my S2000 for three weeks because the weather has been fantastic for the most part.
The most amazing thing about it is how light and nimble it is. I got back into my V for some weekend errand driving yesterday and it felt like a boat with so much body lean compared to the S2000, LOL! And the V is a pretty good track car, so you know the suspension is pretty good. I'm almost afraid to see how much body lean I'd notice in a "regular" car.
I'm sure I'd feel as if the car was going to roll over when turning.
BTW, you know you drive an S2000 when you reach for the radio volume control flapper with your left hand......when you're in your other car. I did this multiple times driving the V this weekend.

Isn't that crazy, Bob? A non S2000 owner would probably think you went off your meds making statements like that. But I agree...9 times out of 10, I reach for the S keys before the TL. There's just something about top down driving and the light nimble feeling you mentioned.
Picked up my new wheels too, btw. I'm in love.

Pics of new wheels please.
My mother and I spent some quality time together yesterday - in past times, we have always washed our cars religiously - I think I know where I got it from.
She takes delivery of the S2000 in late August.

Almost bought a 2004 WDP with tan interior, completely stock, decent condition, no records (from dealership) and 47k on the clock this weekend...but decided against it.
I really want a 2006 or newer car and am willing to wait for the right one to come around. Unfortunate that they stopped the white/tan combo, really liked the look of that car. Even better would be white/cinnamon.

well, I was being funny since you guys brought up the fact that there are two of us...then realized that it wasn't that funny.
My name color is out of my control though! Once a regional coordinator it defaults to orange.

Why do you want 2006+ so bad? Are you planning to do some FI work? if not, there is really no difference since there is no power gain for NA mods anyways.

I got asked...

Then again, I was already setting up all the local meets anyway. Had one yesterday, small group, but had fun. At this point it's a bunch of friends bbq'ing.

Seriously contemplating swapping to steel lugs...I had bad experiences with aluminum studs and how easily they strip in the past. I had to get them to go orange but I found a set of gold studs that could work...it's steel with a gold cap, project mu knockoff style. Hmmm...
Gold could be a good accent color...and no more tightening my ahole every time I torque down.
