Lol. The planner drives the route the day before every to make sure the course is clear. The map is more to show everyone when we meet up at the meeting spot.

Oh and the S2000 is just an awesome piece of machinery. I can rev that thing all day long and it will not skip a beat. It rained during the drive and those sumitomo tire held up like a champ. I have a set in the garage on my tire rack that I'm going to throw on the Infiniti this week. Great tire at a great price.

The Jeep showed -12F air temp (-30F windchill) when I left for work this morning. Today was the first day of the year I wore gloves, it was fvcking miserable outside.

I'm ready for summer now.

Keeps the cost of living low and the idiots (mostly) out.

That said, I'd love to move down by you or to Colorado.

Come on down! The mountains are about 2 hours west and the beach is 3 hours east. Best of both worlds

I don't know man, it's hard to beat 15 minutes to the beach & 2 hours to the mountains.

I'd give anything to live in San Diego, but my little 3/2 tri-level in a top school district (and safe neighborhood) would probably cost 2.5x the $350k I paid for it if it was in San Diego. And I bet my salary isn't 2.5x higher. Some day, though, some day....

+1.

I have a 3/3 2500 sqft on half an acre with a giant 3 car garage in a top neighborhood in a top city close to downtown. How much would that run me in SD?

Don't care if I already have a job. No hurry at all.

Dude...
Big Bear in 2006 was the first time I figured out the correct way to slalom and not eat shit once I was going too fast...so my buddy convinced me to do the black diamond at the very top. Mastered it...was like

then 2010 I go visit family in Suisse...they are seasoned skiers...they're like, oh you do black? I'm like, sure yeah! Went to the top of the mountain and let's just say black there aint' black here...
I made it, didn't fall either but MAN it was steep and scary!

Chicago is an amazing city but damn do the winters really suck here. If it was summer here year-round it would be pretty much perfect.

But with that said, we put up with this winter shit because we love it here. The food is too good, and so are the sports and the people. (And the craft beer!)

Now, I'd love to live in Florida, Colorado, California, Oregon, or Washington some day...

I didn't realize that you had gotten an IS! Congrats!

The 200t blows the 250 away. A bit of turbo-lag but then it absolutely takes off. Have you set up your Enform Remote yet?

Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 is moar better

As much as I like the IS, it's a bit small for a sedan. I'm in love with the 2016 GS350 F-Sport. That would be my pick but it's nearly $60k configured the way I want

Well yeah, but same when I bought my Type S, although I loved the Kinetic Blue Pearl, I don't think I would have enjoyed it day in and day out over my White Diamond Pearl..(i.e. as a daily driver, it'd stand out too much)

Now Laguna Blue on the other hand....

Also, yeah GS F Sport > IS F Sport

but like you mentioned, it's almost a 20K price difference

IS F Sport + Kia Optima = GS F Sport? :math:

Awaiting home delivery scheduled for this Thursday

I'll agree to that - when I test drove it, off the line it takes a bit to get going. But once the turbo gets spoolin'.... !

Fell in love with the cabin; absolutely gorgeous in there.

LBP

I looked for one before I got my Silverstone. They were all either mint and $25k+ or beat to shit with mods for $15k. I couldn't justify it

Worth it

I will admit that the IS350 is much more fun to drive than the GS. The GS is a porky fella and it needs more power. There was a slight bump for the 2016 MY but not enough

I analogize the IS/GS to the M3/M5

IS/M3: mid20's to 40's age range
GS/M5: mid 40's to mid 60's age range.

It's definitely a more refined and mature car.

Nebula Gray Pearl w/ Rioja Red interior, fully loaded.

Drove a couple of sedans prior to making a decision. In the end, Lexus' lease program was a no brainer.

I'll update my thread once the car gets here.
