The Official Honda S2000 Thread
I don't think it'll go for more than $30-$35k at most. They'd be dumb to price a Honda roadster at $40k when a Miata can be had for almost half that.

Let's not forget the insanely priced alfa...
but c'mon...they were asking $32K or more for the S2000 15 fukin years ago...you really think they won't be asking $40 NOW?

so tempting..... so tempting...

Its selling point was engineering.
Even tho Miata is probably the closest thing to a S2000 but it does not mean they are close.
To me Miata is about 60% of what s2000 is and it costs about 60% of a s2000 too.
I would consider the new s2000 at 40k to be cheap IF Honda only improves on what made s2000 special in the first place, not fuck it up completely.

on principle alone, I'd go buy that $45K heavily modified one...I could AT least sell the parts on it for $15K and end up at 30 and not 40 for a bone stock one.
At that point, you'd be better off just buying a used, unmolested 08 for 24-25k.

Lol, I could totally just slip off the belt.
So, I found some stock suspension on Craigslist and reverting back. If anybody wants some good condition AP2 OEM shocks w/ Espelir springs I'd let them go cheap for a AZ Member

I shipped full teins (back when I got ripped off from some az member) across country for like $50. It'd be worth it, Tyler...all in one unit.
Plus, Tyler to Tyler discount.

But Delta doesn't allow shipping of shock absorbers specifically

Here's more information on specific car parts:
Shock absorbers that are sealed with compressed gas will not be allowed in checked baggage. Even if a shock absorber is not sealed with compressed gas, if it contains a residue or vapors of oil or gasoline, it is considered a hazardous material and will be removed from checked baggage.

LOL...don't.
We all know it. I think...or have our own respective term for it. I just know that once you go low, you can't raise back up and still love the car. It's mathematically impossibru.
