Honestly though...I live in paradise...you can debate zombies eating people and rude drivers and which coast has better anything, but in reality, home is where the heart is and i choose to really love South Florida.
Born & raised here, I'd love to stay in San Diego .. but the overall expense, traffic, population density, etc just gets worst and worst each year. I'll admit, it's not as bad as LA ... then again, that's why I don't live there .
My girlfriend and I are giving Oregon some consideration when it comes time to settle down. What a beautiful state.

lol. It's not so bad, you just stay smart and wear the right stuff if going outside on those days. It's not that bad the vast majority of the time. Also makes spring time more enjoyable too. On all the days other than the super cold ones, MN is a beautiful area with tons of things to do and see. People stay active throughout the winter doing different things regardless of time year.
Where else can you ride a snowmobile at 90mph across a frozen lake?
I love Oregon, one of the handful of places I'd move to in the country.

I think the big reason why you hear about all the crazy stuff that goes on in Florida is that police reports are easily accessible to the public/press, or something of the sort. That's why it seems like there are so many nutjobs.
A lot of this would not be possible without a heat gun & patience. I'm working on the lower part of the rocker panel right now which is proving to be a major pita.
It's hard to demonstrate the straightness of the panel, but it's as good as it's going to get with my skillsets
It was tough to match the body line in the bottom of the rocker panel.. I'm sure the imperfections will show themselves a bit more once paint is added.
Either way, I am 100% satisfied since I was quoted $1500 to get this done at a body shop.
Looks good T...
from what I gather, you've got a good foundation now, but don't rush to paint just to finish. Take your time with the filler and shaping...there's no rush!

So it's quickly becoming that time of year that many of us in colder climates put the S2000 in hibernation for the winter. Because this is my first time doing so, what do you guys do to store your car for the winter?

They are tight. How tall are you? I know you hate the Miata, but it's the same concept and you'd fit better in it (thinking 06-2015). Keep in mind, no one actually fits very well in an s2000. Unless you're 5'6".
