CarFax would be great. Any accidents, how many owners, why there are missing bolts on the front fender connecting to the radiator support. What kind of tires are on there, how many miles on them, Service records .

My biggest concern would be rust on that bolt, looks like it was removed for something. If it wasn't, it might be in his best interests to replace that/those rusty bolt(s) so that other people don't have the same thoughts/concerns.

 

As long as the paint is original & VIN stickers look like they weren't tampered with, I don't see a problem with it.

We all know that S2ks are built like brick shit houses - but I'd be more concerned with leaks, condition of the clutch, compression (did the car have a money shift?), etc.

Road tripping the S2000 right now. Up in the twin cities for a wedding this weekend. Trying to see friends in between work meetings (on vacation time!!!) and wedding stuff. While I don't mind road tripping the S2000, driving through Iowa is NOT scenic. TL has the rear suspension pulled right now so couldn't take her.
