$2k is definitely out of the price range for new wheels especially when you swapped yours out for what I already have.

I don't own stock in oil companies. So...how does their gas expense benefit my sale? And they usually want like $100 off to come out from like...NW Indiana. Gas is like $2.25/gallon. 100/2.25 = 44 gallons. My suggestions would be offered thusly:
1.) Dont drive a Panzer tank to come get them.
2.) Would you like me to cover your cable bill too?
3.) GFY

I have a long drawn out story about my stock AP2 exhaust...this guy wanted to buy, I carried it to the a church down the block because no CL people at my house...
twice...stood me up the first time. 2nd time I warned him that it wasn't gonna be a meet up to test fit or lowball, come with money, leave with exhaust...
he shows up and goes oh that's for an ap2? I needed an ap1...never mind, I'll just buy the test pipe from you, that I was including in the sale.

When I was selling my ITR, a "collector" from CA wanted me to take like $3k off my price because:
-His plane tix were gonna cost $1k (?!?!?!?!??!!??!?)
-A transport would cost him $1500. He didn't wanna drive it back because "time is money" and he was "too old for that kind of thing".
-Someone else wasted his time before so...he was leary.

I suffer from a disease in which I HAVE to be right. So to prove that plane tickets don't cost $1k, I found him tickets for like $400ish ROUND TRIP. On Southwest (decent airline).

He said he did not want to drive to LAX because it was 2 hrs from him. He wanted to fly out of Ontario which, according to him is "much more expensive". And that hs wanted this because....again...time is money.

My quandary would be...why is his transport MY problem? Even if the flight from Ontario was $600 more...and it takes 2hrs more to get to LAX...and his time was worth $300/hr....why was he lowballing me on my car?!?!?!
