wait, regarding the MP4-12C crash.... am I reading this right??? his passenger was OLIVIA MUNN??? and he jeopardized her life like that? I'm sorry but, what a moron. They are lucky to be alive. Ok, it would have been the same with any passenger regarding jeopardizing their life, but the fact that I actually may have "known" who it was gives it more gravity, for my interest. completely stupid.

considering a driving event at Autobahn raceway over here where you pay a flat fee to drive a supplied car... which one would do you think would be best experience?
R8
GT-R
DBS
F430
LP560
997 Turbo
R8
GT-R
DBS
F430
LP560
997 Turbo

F430. I think the 997 will be a handful, the GT-R (I hear) can be a little detached for the driver, the DBS would be beautiful but not the same experience as the others, the LP560 would be a close second to the F430, and (while I love the R8) I don't get the impression that it's the same crazy experience as one of the Italian exotics. My take.
#3896
Out of those, I would pick the Lambo., but I am admittedly biased. It or the F430 which I have heard does give more of a driver's experience, would probably be your best choice.
The 997 would be great if it was a RWD model, though. I remember my instructor at DrivingExotics said a lot of people picked the Carrera S because it caught everyone off with how a RWD Porsche responds.

Yea, for some reason I must've clicked on the two instead of the four..but I did drive the rear wheel drive version. They had asked me before I got to the car. I went with the 550-2 because it was brand new, like the owner of the place had just pulled up in it new. It had 200 miles on it

thanks for the input - I wouldn't mind trying the Gallardo (do love its sound) but I do think I'll go the F430 route. Especially since recalling that the 3 other Ferrari models I have driven are 348, 355 and 360. all MT, of course. Pity that this one would be auto.

Another F430 vote.
A friend of mine did a deal here in TX where you get an hour in 4 cars (Z06, Gallardo, F430 & an Aston) He said the 430 was the best. Was supposed to be a Viper, but it was out, so they upgraded him to the Aston.

I guess that was kind of a 'debbie downer' post.
I agree, will have to see how they sound in the car.
But I CAN say for sure the days of the sweetest sounding F1 cars are over. For now at least.

MT of course.
I think what was most pleasing, was its smoothness. At low speeds its like a pussycat. With a growl. Give it some gas, the power comes quick and it kind of explodes around 4000 rpm - but its still smooth. It was a fantastic experience. It was the highest HP car I've ever driven. Need to do that more often.

Had our first car show yesterday. We did ok compared to ppl that have been doing it for years but there is a lot we can improve on.
Does anyone know any good websites to find some red hoses for my 2007 TL. i wanna go with the red and black theme since thats the color of the car on the outside.
We destroyed the new FRS the other day off the line all while doing a burnout. #proud moment
Just a new member trying to get these five post out the way...so i can actually talk about my Car
this should hold me over for that 5 post rule for the nubies

I know you weren't aware of it, so I eliminated the source of irritation to our members. There's nothing that says you can't talk about your car with less than 5 posts, so you can use the other 4 posts you need to actually talk about your car.
