My friend wanted to lease a focus ST with ST2 package. The dealer here told him $5000 drive off and $379 a month for 36 months... and they will not go any lower.
WTF kind of # is that for a 28k car? not mention there is a $2000 incentive from Ford right now.

I suspect chuckmike finally got his act together and started appreciate his Ford Accord and stopped whining and nitpicking a good car.

If it's a 2014, it wouldn't make sense because I've been seeing/hearing they are giving huge deals.

I did that once while sitting in a DBS while sitting in the Aston Martin showroom in Vancouver. It was brilliant that I finally got to...touch that car.

I think you snuck onto a dealership lot where a V had its hood open, slapped down the butter and bacon, took the picture, and ran away. That's why the whole car isn't there. Some salesperson was then left to wonder why someone left (now melted) butter on the engine along with a package of bacon. It's still a Texas mystery that you, alone, could solve.

Unless the car has something like 30% residual value, otherwise the #s just don't add up.
