New Laser light MY2016. I am very curious how the beam pattern looks like at night since LEDs are already very restricted, Lasers are even more restricted.

^ Are they even going to be available in the US? Doesn't someone else (Audi?) have laser headlights that haven't gotten DOT approval?

That was Audi. This is BMW. Audi sucks at everything even in politics

The BMW i8 is the first eDrive 2+2 sports-car from BMW. It sits at the pinnacle of the
BMW i lineup of visionary vehicles which are purpose built from the ground up as electric and hybrid electric, constructed primarily from lightweight carbon fiber. Currently in showrooms and priced at $141,695 including $995 Destination & Handling, the MY2016 BMW i8 features Laser Lights available as an option for the first time in the US, enhancing its athletic design and sleek, low slung exterior. The BMW i8 operates with extremely high fuel efficiency boasting a US EPA rating of 76 MPGe combined. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds on the way to an electronically governed top speed of 155 mph.

Do any of you guys happen to know a good Porsche forum?

A close friend of mind recently purchased a 2013 Cayenne and he's looking to upgrade the wheels, but he wants to stick with OEM Porsche wheels for some reason.

Any info would be great, thanks!

2 series sedan concept. Not bad at all... and the whoring continues.

But i thought Even #s are supposed to be coupes/gran coupes.... Could this be the beginning of the next level whoring? Where every # will have a GT, Touring, GC, Coupe and Sedan? holy shit.

Car looks good, but BMW is out of control with this model expansion. It's ridiculous.

It's also probably ridiculously slow.

Rear seat leg room is not a problem. Slightly less than the F30 3 (which has the same leg room as last Gen 5) but still better than IS.

The problem is the headroom due to the roof line. anyone taller than 5 10 will feel uncomfortable.

Now the trunk space.... while the overall cubic ft is similar to F10 5 series but the usable space is ridiculous.

Here to show you just how ridiculous the trunk is:

The more I've read up on this, the more I think this concept is going to become the new 1-series and that the drive train will be FWD.

I hope this is based on the current 2 series but it is more likely based on the 2 series touring. But if US can get Xdrive only then i think it is still ok.

Clearly BMW is trying to get a piece of whatever A3 is trying to get.

So far it seems the X1 is X drive only.

Lease on my mom's SRX is up in Feb. Wasn't worth getting into another SRX since the all new XT5 drops in a year. So, they ended up leasing a Lexus NX200t today. Both folks seems very happy with the car. Mom loved the design, and fell for it even more on the drive.

New camaro is ehhh... interesting!
Not sure what I think about the exterior styling. The interior is much improved, but that's not saying much. The big hoopla is the performance.

They're adding a turbo 4 to the platform and it's got some ponies. The bigger news is the V8 though. They tuned up the suspension, shaved a lot of weight (sub 3700 lbs), changed the geometry (a la Caddy ATS) and made the LT1 even better. Freaking 0-60 in 4 flat and the 1/4 in 12.4 @115mph... damn. Optioned out, it's a much better grab than the 5.0. Maybe in a different color..

at $37k.... it is hard to beat its performance #s... But i could never tell the difference between the V6 and the V8.... especially the V6 with RS package....

I'm interested in hearing reviews about the turbo 4banger.. hopefully better than the initial ATS reviews, but I'm guessing it's exactly the same platform.

The styling cues are subtle between the V6 and V8, and some of the features for the V8 aren't exclusive. But when you light them up, it all becomes clear.

I think the Mustang looks much better, and it's a better daily driver.

Great numbers for the Camaro though.

Yeah.. it's just off.. it just doesn't seem like a Camaro anymore. I mean it's better, and they're saving money by using the ATS platform, plus the Camaro didn't really have any rear space or storage space to begin with, so no loss there.. but it's too radical in my book. It's like looking at a fiero made to look like a ferrari (not comparing a camaro to a ferrari, but you get my drift)

My first reaction to the exterior:

Gosh, a few more revisions and they might actually do away with any windows at all on the sides. Just keep moving the beltline up to the roofline until they meet.
