Great to hear Morgan. Glad the car feels good again. Hopefully it stays that way.
Nice to see that they also appeared to get away from the good will repair and maybe now it is just a warranty repair. I have a feeling if you would have taken that up with Toyota Corporate they would have set things straight based on the fact some other cars are having issues as well.

I may still be contacting the Region Office, as Im still waiting for the information from the first visit (compression numbers, which cylinder had build up). I've asked four time since that visit for them to give me that information. Something tells me they don't have it.
There was a knocking noise coming from the front suspension. So I climbed under the car this morning to take a look. The endlink bolts on the sway bar side were slightly loose. My fault, it was making a light clunking before it went in to the dealer the first time. But I tightened them up real good and its quiet. While I had the car on jack stands, I took some shitty pics of the underpanels. These are clearly not good shots.

Should've closed the garage door
That's why I want the records. So once it's out of warranty, I can at least make an informed decision should something happen.
Oh, and to call bullshit on the dealer now to have them fix it.
Something, something, endangering a salesperson, something
It took me, uhhh, a long time to find the right one.

^^^no, you dont have to be going 200mph for that, hell the ASPEC kit on the 3G's lower the drag co-efficient...
i think you are confusing drag coefficient with down force....now for down force you have to be going high speeds to get "more" down force....a spoiler that increases down force will reduce drag coefficient...

Morgan stated the specs earlier.
it reduced drag coefficient by .1
I'm afraid to ask how much it cost.

Reduce drag. A stock FR-S Cd is .29. With the underpanels, it's .28. I'm heading up to NY this afternoon, so as long as there isn't retarded amounts of traffic, Ill see if my mpg pick up any.

Not much surprisingly - $260 I think. There are some importers that will sell a package deal for 5 sets at ~$1k plus shipping. So you need to get in on a group buy, otherwise you'd pay close to $400 for just one set.

Late to the thread because of work.
Congrats on getting the car back, and even better that it turned into a warranty repair.
LOL at "endangering a salesperson"
Thats hard to do in an Si, I'm sure.

Thanks Bob! We need more pics of your V btw. Many more.
I believe the underpanels really do help. I managed ~31mpg on the trip to NY, and thats including the ridiculous traffic in Northern VA. Hopefully I get a smooth run back down early Tuesday morning to see what it can get without traffic.
