Thats one of the gifts Scion sent me. Ill be getting that, the window sticker, and a few of the letters I received from Scion framed and hanging them in the garage.

I had the yota in the middle...an 87. That picture just made me miss it in a major way. I knew nothing about cars, it had a weird brake noise, probably just needed rear shoes...my grandpa got swindled into me swapping over to a 91 civic hatch.
On 2nd thought, I wish I had both or either of those cars as project cars.

I would love an '83 Supra to restore and make it all uber-JDMey like Synth's GT-R. I feel like that was the heyday for Japanese sports cars for about a decade and then it just fell apart for another decade after that.

I think all manufacturer's have a time where they're styles look cool/classic. They all looked like old POS's until recently. It's a cycle...like bellbottoms. At some point, the Japanese will probably revisit their classic styles like the American cars are all doing now.

If you're trying to find an exact body match, that won't work. But all three are doing throwback versions that have the basic feel and overall look to em that matches their predecessors.
