My canyon run group had a photoshoot event on Saturday. I took a lot of pics and these are some of it. We had over 30 cars to show up, we drove up the mountain and chilled at the peak.
Everything's uploaded on my flickr page if anyone wants to check it out.

This was my post on IG.
Socal Lateral G is different from other car groups. We don't do parking lot meets at all. We only do meets for the canyon runs and track days.
That's how we differentiate ourselves from the other countless car groups. That's our edge. That's our unique proposition to the car enthusiasts in Southern California.
But today, we did our first ever parking lot meet just for fun. At least we did it at the peak of Mt Wilson Observatory. So it was an interesting mix of driving and hard parking.
Although we have failed miserably in creating a clean circle with our cars, we all had a fun time. Can't believe we had over 30 cars today.

Nice photos, man. That drone shot is sick. I gotta say I'm surprised that there's not a single S2K in the group though. Who generally leads the pack when you're in the canyons?

We do have a lot of S2Ks in my run group. Most of them didn't have a free time to come out to this event, that's all.
We had this S2K though.
And this Miata is like so perfect.
As for the S2Ks leading, it's usually about the drivers, not the cars. Any car can be the fastest pretty much.

Thanks!
That drone actually had a failure later in the day.
It dropped down to the ground and got completely destroyed.
First time happening per the owner. He's getting a replacement through warranty he said. LOL

Hahaha it's just wheels and coilovers. That's all. I started learning how to work on the car at my friend's garage from awhile ago, so I just did it with my friends. Never knew how fun and easy it is to work on the car myself.
My clutch had the squeaky noise from several months ago, that's still there. My driver's side highbeam isn't working properly. It's bi-xenon unit, so I definitely want to get it replaced if it's not working under warranty.

My brother in law brought his brand new drone to my house for christmas dinner and tried to show it off in my backyard, it somehow took off way over the house and into the neighborhood and disappeared.... LOL...
