Some pics from today.

About 15 of my friends came out at 7am. We had a blast. Drove about 80 miles total, talked for like 1.5 hours like girls.

Then some of us went to Kang Ho Dong KBBQ.

Why do you need fancy TC/VSC when you have your wife in the car?

You don't, it would be redundant since they both tell you to slow down.

Exactly!

It feels very weird since I'm always the leading person in my canyon group... and this past cruise, I was in the very back driving at the speed limit... and my wife was still telling me to FOCUS on the road!!!!

hahaha it was all fun though.

No there is a major difference.

I can turn the TC off with 1 button. Try that with your wife/GF and slow down will be least of your worries.

Only solution is to go faster. So fast that she concentrates on holding on more than yelling.

In my experience, the faster you go the more she yells and the less she concentrates?

I don't know, mine shuts up after a limit. I get the yelling at the end.

This is from my last track day. onebadna1nsx filmed it. My exhaust sounds comes on around 7 seconds in.

I'll stop being lazy and make some exhaust vid with pass-by and in-car later this week. It sounds very angry.

So I went too late for that Jackson Racing + Church dyno day. I couldn't get my car dynoed but didn't matter since everyone's been posting the dyno sheet in that thread.

Dyno Day 8/30/15 Hosted by Jackson Racing & Church Automotive Testing - Page 4 - Scion FR-S Forum | Subaru BRZ Forum | Toyota 86 GT 86 Forum | AS1 Forum - FT86CLUB

This is the results pretty much:

Stock baseline - 160-170whp
Header+tune+91 - 180-190whp
Header+tune+E85 - 190-210whp
Jackson Racing Supercharger CARB tune 91 - 255-265whp
Jackson Racing Supercharger E85 - 360whp

This one guy did 217whp NA which is ridiculous high.. He was not even custom tuned, it's just OTS E85 tune.

His mods:

OFT: Stage 2 E85 Tune (OTS)
Tomei 60S Catback
AFE Power EL Twisted Steel Headers w/Cat
Perrin LW Crank Pulley
Exedy LW Flywheel
WORKS High-Flow Drop-In Air Filter
HKS Iridium Spark Plugs

This might have changed my mod plan.

These cars look like a blast to drive. I always turn my head when I see them drive by. I'm trying to go through your thread to see what's all done to your car, but it's too long! (that's what she said)

Even stock, they're fun. Guy in our office has one. When the office takes everyone to lunch, he brings me his keys

Yeah, it's quite long, huh?

Thanks dude! It's a really, really fun car to drive. It's like a Miata with more space. haha

Here's some stuff I've done to my car:

RPF1 17x9 +35
Hankook RS3 245/40/17
Tein Street Flex Coilovers
Project Mu Club Racer brake pads
K&N Drop-in filter
ASR Trackpipe

If you enjoy driving the stock one, you will love my car. It's very, very different from the stock car with some goodies. The car becomes a different machine with a few key mods.

If you ever come to LA, I'll bring my key to you for sure!

Maybe! Do you want to go?

I have a track day/Subiefest/USC vs Stanford all on that same day, so I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. haha

It is one of the best tracks in the U.S. I heard. Some of my 86CUP track friends in LA went there early this year. Looked incredible.

I'm still considering saving up for the AMG driving academy at COTA. Expensive, but from what I've read it's supposed to be a lot of fun with the majority of the day spent on the track.

Got some treats for my Daenerys today.

Finally done with the free oil changes from the dealership. Changed up to 5W-30 for a little better heat management. The OEM is 0W-30. All my FRS/BRZ track guys are running 5W-30.

I'm going to try to swap the brake fluid within a couple of weeks. My current Motul brake fluid is almost a year old.

2013 Subaru BRZ Kimchi Edition-vjvwowz.jpg

Took a quickie yesterday. Super dirty but I love it. Battle scars on the front bumper.
