Google Working to Bring RAW Capability to Android Phones

http://petapixel.com/2013/11/18/goog...ndroid-phones/

interesting, but Google phones NEED to be able to have expandable storage if they are going this route.

There was a thread about that a few months ago on FlickrCentral. Turns out "wife" is one of the most highly searched tags on flickr. After that thread there were a bunch of people tagging everything with "wife".

not sure on this - I would suggest looking or asking on the Adobe forums.

for anyone that's curious, if you actually search "wife", Flickr basically turns into a porn site (with a lot of fugly people)... I learned this yesterday because I didn't understand why I was getting so many views of my 2 photos with the tag "wife".

Would love to know how, there is no "revert back" option that I see.

Truthfully, I never tried the beta program, looks like they are just forcing its use now...

Not everyone can anymore.
I just came from a happy hour with a few other local photogs and one of them brought this up - he's been (without opting-in) been forced to switch... and there's no way to go back to the old photo page for him.

It looks like Flickr is starting to roll it out as the new official page across subsets of users. And those users have no way to opt out. This is the new photo page - whether you like it or not.

Just like other changes they've done... any complaints will surely be ignored.

I deleted my last post, apparently, you guys are right... Well, this is annoying as fuck

but for personal reasons, I have 3 different Flickr accounts, my main one is the Pro, but the other 2 aren't, yet the other 2 are still the old version, as of right now

I would guess they are getting nearer to "flipping the switch" for everyone....

and I would also guess when they do, they will have most of those things that were missing before...

While that would be nice, it apparently isn't there yet...

I added tags to a single photo in a set, then went to "organize" and copied those tags to the other images in a set (no easy way to do this in Flickr :[ ) and saved the changes. When I view the individual photos, they do not show the tags, but in "organize" they do...

When you click on an image, it appears larger on your screen. Down the right hand side of the page there are 6 icons. The 5th one down is an "i" inside a circle. That is the info button. If you click it, some of the exif data is supposed to come up.

not so much... @ flickr

annoys me whenever I shoot for someone (unpaid), and they ask for the RAW files.. Here in Canada (not sure about the US), the photographer OWNS them and don't need to sign ANYTHING... it's given.

Even worse, when they don't have any post processing skills or even programs to convert. I sooooooo badly want to tell her: "Yeah? And what da fuck are you going to do with them?"

I'm enjoying the new Flickr now. They added the image embedding links in (which was missing before) and the photo view screen is considerably better than the old white-background style. The only thing I can't figure out right now is how to view larger sizes.

That light is nothing new. Manfrotto made a case to add on LED lights.
