the photo I took at the wedding over the weekend got RT'ed by TrumpChicago... this is why I love Twitter.. this photo also got popular on Reddit.. TriState Production is a friend of mine, it was his RT that they RT'ed. This was just a random shot with the GF1, I wasn't shooting there or anything. It was the only such shot I took.

I agree with the dust theory. Even though I immediately put the dust cap on it's still another moment that the body is directly exposed. Also, the more and more I want to fiddle with things for a quick minute here and there leaving a lens attached makes it much more convenient.

I swear my hands are like ninja fast when I take off the lens from the body and put both caps on them.

Adobe Photoshop Touch for iPad 2 Accidentally Launched, Officially Coming Monday
Saturday February 25, 2012 7:41 pm PST by Arnold Kim
Adobe prematurely launched Adobe Photoshop Touch for the iPad 2 in several worldwide stores this evening, but the app has since been pulled.
Adobe first announced the product back in October, 2011 alongside 5 other upcoming tablet applications. Adobe Photoshop Touch is described as a tool to "let you quickly combine images, apply professional effects, share the results with friends and family through social networking sites like Facebook, and more".
Features listed include:
- Use popular Photoshop features designed for the tablet such as layers, selection tools, adjustments, and filters to create mind-blowing images.
- Use your iPad camera to fill an area on a layer with the unique camera fill feature.
- Select part of an image to extract by scribbling with the Scribble Selection tool. With Refine Edge, use your fingertip to capture even hard-to-select image elements, like hair, with ease.
- Search and acquire images with the integrated Google Image Search.
- Share images on Facebook and view comments right within the app.
- Browse an inspirational gallery for the styles and results you'd like to achieve. Then follow step-by-step tutorials to easily learn techniques the pros use for great-looking results.
- Use AirPrint for wireless printing of Photoshop Touch projects.
- Upload projects to Adobe Creative Cloud* and open layered files from Adobe Photoshop Touch in Photoshop CS5.
- Maximum image resolution: 1600 x 1600 pixels
The launch is believed to have been a mistake and is expected to officially launch on Monday for $9.99 in the U.S. It will be compatible with the iPad 2 only. We've included the full set of screenshots.

wasn't sure if I should have posted in the Android thread or Cell Phone Photos' thread... or here... but anyway, I noticed my Android phone's camera seems to be pretty wide for a cell phone camera, or is it just me?
How wide do you guys think this is? If it matters, it's the HTC Sensation

Nokia 808 PureView smartphone photos show surprisingly good image quality
Monday, February 27, 2012 | by Rob Galbraith
Making the rounds of tech websites today is news of the Nokia 808 PureView smartphone and its 41-megapixel image sensor. Which, at first, seems like an absurd number of pixels to stuff into a camera inside a phone.
The sample photos, however, tell a different story. The 808 PureView's 1/1.2"-size sensor and 8.0mm f/2.4 Carl Zeiss-branded lens join up to produce crisp, clear and truly high-resolution pictures, at least in the bright outdoor conditions in which the samples were taken.
Even if you have no interest in this phone, it's still worth taking a moment to download and view the 33.65 and 38.39 million image pixel JPEGs that Nokia has posted (the 808 PureView can be set to shoot at different aspect ratios, hence the varying image resolutions). While they're not going to challenge the quality from Nikon's upcoming 36.15 million image pixel D800 and D800E, the files are nevertheless surprisingly good, given the device used to capture them.

Three full-resolution photos taken with the 808 PureView are here (direct link). Nokia has also posted a PDF white paper that, among other things, describes how the 808 PureView uses "pixel oversampling" to create better-quality five-megapixel photos as well, including at moderately-high ISO settings.
