man, that shot would be poster-worthy if you cloned out the poles and that little bit near the top of the headlight.. just saying. hell I would probably make the sky clear as well.

yeah you have a good eye - good crop, good angle, unfortunately you have only so much control over the environment at events such as this. It's not convenient to ask the owner to move the car so you don't get the poles in the background.

so here is my edit:

and the how-to:

edit: I forgot to mention at 0:35 that I am hitting Alt key to choose clone source (on Mac its whatever the equivalent) - continually hitting Alt throughout the video to fine-tune and adjust the clone source. And I am holding the space bar to move the image around, and the mouse wheel to zoom in and out of the image. Also: Ctrl-Alt-Z for multiple undo steps.

I know it's kinda boring. maybe next time I'll use one of my Indian accents to keep it interesting...

that is Digsby popups, I use it to manage Facebook and Twitter and IM's. You can respond and retweet or like right from the popup itself, pretty sweet.

I was helping out a concert at Mohegan sun last night for Wakin Chau.

Didn't realize till the show I was the only main photographer for the show =)
I didn't have to share the front row with anyone else but other staff on my team wee

135mm 2.0 dc
nikon d700

I have to say the 135 was my favorite lens to use during this concert.

Not so much the 70-200 but i did use it when he was running around
24-70 for the wide shots, I didn't think the 16-35 was needed but could have made a cool arena shot.

screen cap of some of the photos

24-70

Shot the last night with the help of my buddy Brent
(
http://www.flickr.com/photos/beysler86/)

We were allowed to shoot inside of Huntington Social bar/ Lounge. Its a great place as well the staff was very friendly to us in letting us shoot in there.

The original idea was to shoot jb in the red velvet booth then brent thought up the idea to shoot through some glasses, when I popped on my 135mm 2.0 dc lens =) I had to have rajiv hold a glass right above the fram to make the bokeh surround him completely.

Check out JB work and his fan page
