Yup, they had 100, 250 and 750 flavors.

They were awesome. Every computer lab at my school had every computer outfitted with a zip drive. It made it so convenient to keep all your work on one drive. There were issues though. I can't tell you how many times a disk failed on me. I had to be very diligent about backing up my work.

I went out to a (very) dark lounge today with a few other photogs and brought the new EF 28mm f/1.8mm USM with me to test it in extreme dark environments. I had been to this place before so I knew I might not get anything useful but it went better than expected...

28mm 1/30s f/1.8 ISO 3200

Also 1/30 f/1.8 ISO 3200:

I was impressed at how fast & accurate the AF was considering the low light.

Rubin, I just processed a few from this morning before I head out, figured I'd throw em up.

this one is meh, precariously perched on a piling while trying to hold the camera straight.

mmmmm... I only wish you got a completely symmetrical (and complete) reflection and centered the image vertically. but, I'm not complaining. good look regardless.

They were streamers on some funky kid's hat for sale at a fair last fall. They're very light and blew all around in the breeze. The kids were digging them.

This is shot in a photobooth at my work place. The photobooth is a bit incomplete, but some angles work well...

profoto d1 air 500w camera left aimed back wall high
profoto d1 air closer camera left aimed up
profoto d1 air camera right aimed up
(all using zoom reflectors and widest setting.)

Theres no setupshot but our photobooth looks like this. I have to take inventory shots not really much fun and a lot of time per car since its an exotic car dealership and they want things done now now now
but ill upload a full a gallery later =)
