Color options leaked from bkmania
Space Black
Ceramic White
Dynamic Yellow
Super Red
Blue Sapphire
Blue Diamond
Sleek Silver
Who came up with these names anyways?? They sound awful. I hope these terms are for KDM and different names for USDM.

I think they sounds fine. I really like the name Sleek Silver, Blue Diamond, and Dynamic Yellow. They are unique.

We need some official announcement, but I'd guess that we won't see that till 2009... With the dollar crapping itself lately, it's tough for foreign automakers to price anything unless it's right before the model introduction...

Supra is the best interior in my opinion, hands down,,

Do you even have to copyright color names? That would be ridiculous, there's only so many adjectives that you can put in front of [color] and have it remotely make sense. And speaking of the Supra, isn't Super Red an old Toyota color?
@ are you having PMS. I was reading that in my head with a very strong accent.
I will agree with him though that the Supra's interior was great for its time. Everything was driver-centric and for a car audiophile like me, I like how the speakers were mounted high in the doors. What a useless backseat though

Either way, a brand new RWD 300HP V6 for slightly under $30k out the door sounds great.
Either way, will still be a steal of a deal imo.

Genesis coupe convertible under development. Hyundai developed the convertible for tuscani (tiburon in USDM) before, but did not introduce it to the market. So, we'll have to wait to see if the Genesis coupe convertible will debut or not. Maybe it won't come out or maybe it will.

First ride: Pre-Production Hyundai Genesis Coupe
On Thursday we had the chance to ride in the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe at Buttonwillow Raceway Park in Buttonwillow, California. The exterior of the pre-production model appears fairly complete — save for the odd trim piece here or the yet-to-be finalized grille there — and the overall feel was solid and refined.
The interior features color schemes that were also on display in the production versions of the 2009 Genesis Sedan, which we spent the day test driving from Santa Barbara to Buttonwillow and back.
The coupe was clearly unfinished, as evident by the stickers throughout the interior stating that certain panels should not be considered final production items.
The center console was mostly complete in brushed aluminum and included an Infinity Fosgate audio system with XM Radio.
The engine was a version of the Lambda 3.8-liter V6, tweaked to provide more than the 290-horsepower on tap in the Genesis Sedan. It was displayed in an unvarnished manner, since the engine cover that will no doubt show up underhood, has not been finalized yet. Like a tiger cub, the V6 has a throaty growl that defies expectations, without being over the top.
Driving the roadcourse at Buttonwillow displayed great handling characteristics, begging for even harder corners. The suspension development is well on its way as displayed on the elevation changes that require hard braking and then a sharp turn left on the back stretch of the mile-long roadcourse.
Braking displayed great stopping power, and this was not even the high end Brembo kit that will show up on the GT model!
We can’t wait to get into the production model of the Genesis Coupe for a complete review.

i guess i'm in the minority in that i like the design a lot.
it's not the greatest, but what is (other than the S5)?
i can't wait to take this for a test drive.
if i was in the hunt for a new car, i'd be looking at this first.

Most people who are willing to accept the fact that Hyundai is making huge strides will admit that the overall design of the Genesis Coupe is very attractive.
Its just that all of the Hyundai haters are so biased against Hyundai that they say its either ugly or a rip off. I.E. Put a Toyota badge on that sucker and everyone would be hailing it as "the Supra successor."
Objectively, I think everyone can agree this is a good looking coupe; just that the whole name brand thing kills it for the majority.
If anything, we're in the minority of people who think Hyundai is leaping over Honda and Toyota. :runsforcoverfromthehondafanbois:

Fantastic review ... This car is going to be a hit.
A bit unsettling about the Lexicon audio system but other than that this sounds like a great car. A bit too big for my tastes but if they come out with a RWD Azera-sized model I'll be sure to go check it out.

Well, i'm still holding my judgement on the lexicon since they said they were in the hills and shit with no reception, and no CDs.
I think this system will be on Mark levinson's level.

There is a guy locally who works as a regional rep for Hyundai and gets all the newest rides. A few weeks ago he had a black Genesis V8 that was replaced by a silver V8 not too long ago. I got to sit in it and check it out front to back. Very impressive and the nav graphics are extremely sharp.

I really like the design of the Genesis coupe but the interior leaves a bit to be desired. Still, bravo to Hyundai for taking the enthusiast seriously (something that few automakers do these days.....*cough* Honda *cough)...

^ Don't be fooled. Lexicon is the shit when it comes to home theatre systems. (In fact, I would put it in higher standing than Mark Levinson... but I'm no expert in home theatre ... I listen to my cousin in Singapore who's an EE at Creative Labs) Lexicon wouldn't put their name on the sound system if it was crap (in the Genesis, that is). I think the people who tested it aren't real "audiophiles".
I am actually very interested in test driving one ... IF it ever makes it to Canada ...

J/K -- I glad there are some who are thinking outside the box (ie only worry about profits) and do something radical to shake up the brand and have others take notice. And make something people want to drive without breaking the bank doesn't hurt, either ... Kudos to Hyundai for making a car about $10k less than a G37. (Makes me look like a fool not to wait a little longer and see what the competition has in store ... )

The base price is $33k.
The Premium Package is $2k and includes:
Lexicon Audio
Leather dash
Rain Sensing Wipers
Power Rear Window Sunshade
Auto Defogging Windshield
Memory Seating
Etc.
The Premium Plus Package is an additional $1k over the Premium Package and includes:
18' Hyper Silver Alloy Wheels
The Tech Package is $4k and includes:
-Navigation w/ backup camera
-Multimedia Controller
-Adaptive HID lights
-Hard Disk Drive Music Storage (I believe 10GB)
etc.
Fully-loaded it's about $2k more than the new Maxima. Not bad considering it's a bigger, RWD vehicle with similar feature content and a nicer finished interior (IMO).

btw, I saw one on the freeway today with a Michigan plate... (60 freeway, going west Diamond Bar, CA). It was in the carpool lane, I caught up to take a picture of it with my camera phone, but it came out so bad, I'm not even going to bother posting. Anyway, there were 2 people in the car... I was coasting along side with them, I rolled down the window, and gave them a thumbs up, and the passenger returned with his, both were Korean (Yes, us Asians can tell each other apart). It was the V8 model... cause I saw a "4.6" badging.
