i don't think it looks bad.

and like the TSX, i think it will grow on me. it should definitely look better than the RL. and i think it will continue to sell.

The rear looks like an Avalon. I hope the car is smaller in person than it looks in pics. As of now, it looks like a barge.

Yes, very chunky, and long. The rear overhang is horrendous. Ugh. I really wanted to like the 4G TL, and was excited for its debut, but I'm just not feeling this thing.

I'm hoping it looks better in real life.

Looks like they wanted to make it longer and have a wheels-at-the-corners look...but they forgot to more the wheels-to-the-corners.

Dammit. They're linked from Leftlane. They work for some. I think.

Here's the direct link.

damn after seeing those pics on vtec, gosh that car in the rear and the sides reminds me of the avalon and the saturn aura from the rear with the taillights. you think that Honda has a secret pact with Saturn? this thing is also too wide! you'll definately need a dent protector or something

I saw the new TSX Saturday and liked it. The RL is growing on me. The TL seems natural in the new design mix...I like it.

why the hell do they keep making every generation of cars bigger than the previous one??? does every freaking car have to be a god damn ocean liner????

are americans really that fat that we need all cars to increase in size???? EVERY single car nowadays is bigger than it used to be. dont beleive me? just think about honda/acura for starters?

1st gen-2nd gen CL
1st gen -2nd gen-3rd gen-4th gen TL
all honda accord generations
honda civic models

toyota corrolla, camry
lexus IS, GS, LS
Audi a4 - a6

EVERY nissan product (maxima, altima, etc)

every one of those cars today is larger than every previous version, its just ridiculous.

The rims on the photochopped black TL are 19's. You guys really think bigger is necessary?

The new TL is going to have 3 different rim sizes:

17inch standard on the base FWD model. Maybe 18's optional?
18inch standard on the base SH-AWD model with 19inch optional.

It's like they're running some kind of twisted experiment...

"If we put enough cool tech features into our cars, just how butt-ugly can we make them and still have people buy them?"

FAIL

Thumbs up Looks great

I think it's looking good. I like the angular design and am sure the power plenum grille will grow on everyone. It's a polarizing design--and that's a good thing. Various "elements" seem to be repeated in the design (trapezoids specifically).

I'm noticing there doesn't seem to be head restraints for the rear seats (at least not in sight). I'm wondering if the TL will get the same remote retractable system the RL has (I hope so--I think it's trick).

every time a new round of acuras comes out, you guys complain. My mom is buying a new RDX so I got the chance to check out the new TSX. If you don't think it looks MUCH better inside and out than the first gen, you need to check yourself.

There is nothing wrong with the grille, either.

As an aside, I heard that owners got to check out the TL for 90 seconds each. No cell phones/cameras allowed. They came away VERY excited. The more spy pics I see, the more I think this car will be a winner.

Do the differences in exhaust mean a Type S will come out at the same time?
