Ewww I hope thats not the pic thats a huge step backwards to fight against other Sports sedans. I mean 35k I could get a 328I for that price it looks better and has better performance. Please tell me that is not the the new TL.

It's going to end up looking like the Sports 4 concept in the front. I betcha someone at Honda said "oh look at the positive reaction to this TSX concept, let's make it the TL then, and give the TSX the ugly headlights from the RDX."

They're gonna biff the styling of this car just like they did with the new TSX I bet.
Acura hit it's zenith in 2004-2005 when the CL-9 TSX and 3G TL were the new deal, along with the occasional NSX still left to wow showroom goers.

What Would Don Draper Do?
no surprise that the front's going to look like the TSX's.
but it looks like the rear will have the accord sedan's slanted look, which is a shame in my opinion.
i think the current TL has one of the best looking rears. i was hoping they'd just evolve it like the new TSX did.

And I always thought that the 3G looked great, from the first time I saw it. Not so with the 4G.

looked at the rear pics again, looks like they just took the RDX bumper and put it on the new TL. Honda/Acura may be trying to cut cost that way?
roofline does remind me of the GS, Maxima, and M35/M45.

are those taillights interchangeable with accord sedan?

I'm Down Right Fierce!
Looks like the 4g TL will be huge. Can't say if i like it or not; either way I dont expect this thing to be lightning quick with all that weight its carrying.
#3468
God damn thats a big car. Looks Lexus GS-ish from the profile. Not feeling the trunk..it reminds me of optimus prime for some reason. Hopefully everything will look better when the masks comes off.
#3471
how handsome I am
This thing looks like a bastardization of the current TL in every way, shape and form. The revealing of this car is going to be a dark day in honda history for enthusiasts everywhere.

^ I wouldn't go that far. This proto of the 4th gen TL does look a lot like the lines of the current gen Lexus GS. Big in every dimension ... as one would expect if it shares the chassis of the current Accord. Which would mean ... is there room at the bottom of Acura's line-up? I mean, an Integra replacement? Or is Honda/Acura really gonna follow that "we're gonna be a tier-1 company" non-sense they spewed out a few months ago? Even BMW/MB/Audi are jumping into a entry-level luxury market ...

The sizzle in the Steak
I'm now more worried about the TL than ever before.

אני עומד עם ישראל
I'll reserve final judgment until I actually see it in person w/o camo. In person the new TSX doesn't look half bad. I still don't dig the grill....

luvs redheads!
its bigger but knowing honda and what they have said...no RWD or v8. When you have to move something that big and heavy a MPG come into play..it may be more efficient just to use a v8 lol
