Surprised this hasn't been posted yet...
New photos of the TL spied at a golf course. Best pictures yet ... Doesn't look as fugly as I thought when I saw the press release drawing imho, but maybe it will look better over time or look better in person:

If my 2G TL-S 5AT wasn't made of glass, I'd keep that over buying this for sure -- still the best looking TL imho 
But I want to replace it with something that will last longer. I was seriously considering the new TSX when I heard it was going to get 250+hp but thats out of the question now -- not to mention it is not very attractive imho. The TL isn't much better, but its not as bad as I originally thought. I wanted something smaller anyway, so I think I'm going the BMW route (135i!)

wow the grill is so fucking huge! what the hell is with that little body piece above the headlights!? looks like a cheap afterthought due to bad design.
looks like the new acura symbol is about the size of a basketball too.

you guys cant say you like the huge obnoxious reflectors that are 3 ft long built into the bumper either.

I think overall it looks pretty good, and I'm sure the interior will be very nice as well. I'm over the whole grill thing, yeah they could have gone with something more traditional, but I think it'll grow.

That grille is just MIGHTY UGLY. I still cannot get over how UGLY it is!!!
That rear end is a straight copy of the Saturn Aura.
The side profile is a straight copy of GS.
I think I am done with Acura. I hope that someone at corporate Acura will finally realize how they really screwed up the Acura designs. In the meantime, I just received a brochure of the new 2009 A4. Oh my goodness, it is so absolutely gorgeous....

Oh, and what is up with that trapezoid light and round light doing TOGETHER at the bumper? Maybe we do not have enough stuff going on already, and a few more lines and geometric shapes are in order? When I saw this non-sense on the new RL I almost collapsed. Now I see this on the new TL, suddenly the TSX has become the best looking car in their sedan line-up, and that is a pretty sad state of affairs!!!
Someone needs to lose his/her job at Acura corporate... sigh....

The grille is huge. Why does it have to go so far above the headlights into the hood. Still have mixed feelings.
Thankfully they didn't give the TL the huge slab sided fender flares they gave the TSX.

yikes, that grill is worse than the one on the new tsx, i will withhold a final judgement, but so far i am not feeling the look of this new TL. i dont think i will be lookng at Acura for my next car.

Acura's design has gotten so busy that it takes the elegance away from what you would expect to see in an upscale brand. I'm a little confused as to what Acura is trying to achieve...are they trying to compete in the luxury segment or are they trying to be a niche brand? It seems to be the latter.
