I think the car could stand be a little more aggressive, like a sharper front bumper and a fixed rear wing...

Reminds me of the 03 gallardo, proper lines and greenhouse but adding a new front bumper + rear wing makes the new updated ones look properly menacing and makes the old models look properly shitty

Acura NSX Production Model Rumored for Detroit Auto Show Debut

Despite previously confirming that Acura would not unveil its production model NSX at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, a photo on the Internet is raising speculation that that might not be the case.

Back in October 2012, rumors brewed that the production NSX would make its official debut at this year’s Detroit Auto Show. When AutoGuide reached out to a Honda representative however, those claims were denied.

Instead, Acura announced it would debut a prototype for the next-generation MDX crossover.

The photo in question, however, comes from inside the closed doors of the show venue in the Motor City. It clearly shows a massive display prepared by Acura for the NSX – 1 that is certain to steal away some attention from the MDX concept.

The rumors floating around at Temple of VTEC are that they will be showing the interior of the car. Not as noteworthy as the actual engine specs, but still a big part of it.

The Acura stand had a nice brochure which shows an interior shot, if I have time after dinner I'll scan it and post. If it looks close to the rendering...I may have to reexamine my choice for waiting for the 991 turbo.

If Acura can really pull off that interior, I'll be two things: 1) willing to eat crow for saying Acura has completely lost their way; and 2) pissed because they cut so many corners in everything else.

The only two things I don't like are the wheels (a few too many angles) and the two circular gauges on the instrument cluster (which I suspect will not be there for the production version) other than that H/A created a worthy successor to the 1G NSX.
