mmmm we did pretty well food-wise this past meat (get it?). the BBQ pit was the place to be y0! i just need to get a better jump on my marinated pork this time since they disappeared rather quickly once i pulled them from the grill.

alright so i know santa barbara is far for norcalers, but are norcal-ers willing to drive an extra hour?

if we can compromise that we'll have a better location which
1. right on the beach
2. good cruise spots
3. NOT in the middle of no where, lots of other things to do.

if not biddle is also a decent area.

There was a lot of hot dog left, but we had plenty of food. No one was complaining about not having enough food. Good job norcal!

I remember the fiasco in 2007. We all went pass the park and had to u-turn which cause other cars to honk and . It was a great location. Parking wise, I dont think it will fit 40+ cars though. If we meet in Santa Barbara beach, I dont think they're going to allow us to cook food? Beside parking will be a pain for us!

Personally...I'm not a fan of any location that is going to be crowded.

When I think beaches...I think crowded.

What about a open area... Like up in a mountain area??? I agree with above, I rather be at a place with open area then at a beach... So do we have a date yet??? (please set a date about 2 months in advance so I can let my boss know...)

so you're talking about Biddle? damnit.

Well for Santa Barbara, my gf lives there so she knows a few good spots. I'll make her research =P and i'll see if we can come up with something concrete. She said there's a spot just for parking (need to pay) then we walk across the street to the beach for the bbq pits. She said there are meets there all the time.

hey phillip, besides the tshirt idea, think we can get someone here to design/get some "Acurazine" plastic license plate holders? we can ask the attendees to "donate" $5 or whatever, as long as it's affordable aka "cheap"..LOL and then have Azine donate the funds to whatever charity the site supports...just an idea...

guys how about this location near the cal poly performing arts center
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sadd...715733ab2fd196
has a huge lot that could accommodate us and we'd just have to bring some grills or something lol

you can buy the blank metal license plate (color of your choice) then put the acurazine sticker on (again, color of your choice). That's how I did mine and it looks great!

Someone made acuzine license plate covers last year that were really nice I think he charged a buck or two for printing on a heavier bond paper.

As far as Santa Barbara, I'm not willing to travel that far. It seems we have plenty of options in SLO or Pismo that can work and are more central for everyone.

I like to T-Shirt idea and Car Audio Comp (CSWBiggs and I are going head-to-head) Anyone else can compete if they dare

Good work keeping this thing moving.

As we are zeroing in on a spot, what are the thoughts on dates? What works best for people, June, July, or??? Either work for me, except the weekend of July 4th.
